I picked OU to win 50-10, so the D was 16 points better than I figured. 23 points better actually, since the one TD wasnt scored against the D

Positives

Worley played hard
Hurd showed glimpses of greatness
D played hard. Barnett, Johnson, Sutton are ballers
Team never gave up

Negative
Offensive game calling
Offensive line
Dropped passes
Still questionable at Safety. Too many bad angles resulting in too many YAC by OU

Keep your heads up, but I'm not sold on Bajakian being able to improve this offense enough to win in the SEC.

If we play the SC team that beat UGA today and the KY team that took UF to triple OT I don't see 6 wins. I didn't see it before the season but I saw an opportunity with Vandy's slip and USU being a paper tiger. Now to see how this staff recruits with back to back losing seasons.

Every dog has his day

I still think we can take Florida at home this year as long as we can improve our blocking scheme on offense and get more creative on offense

We just saw that the USU and ASU was our offense. No vanilla

I agree with most . I especially agree that this could have been alot worse , and would have been alot worse last season.

I think the perceived play calling is a symptom of the offensive line play . There was instant pressure at the point of attack and the run gaps were flooded ...due to blocking. Okie sat on the receivers at the line for the most part ...so the underneath was just not an option most of the game and there was no time to get down field because of the pressure. IN this offense the QB reads the zone and either hands off or pulls the handoff and passes in a layered west coast system. No time for the play fake and no time to develop downfield. The line is young and this is an expected problem by most . They will get better . There is no offense that can function without O line production

I disagree with the SEC play. This OU team is better than maybe the best SEC team . WE have a shot in every SEC game except one..Bama. We almost beat UG and did beat USCe and we are a much improved team this season

It's going to be hard winning 6 games with this offense. I'm just not much of a fan of what we're doing offensively. The oline killed us tonight though. 6 will be a tall order. Going to be another long season..

The the Offensive Line is very young and it showed but the play calls made it worse. Whoever called the plays should be replaced.

The game was closer than the score shows.. my thoughts are the O-line was below average, if it were not for that we lose maybe by 7-10, we were moving the ball... I thought the refs were horrible and I hate to even bring that up. Defense fought hard.. Worley did as well as he could do, am proud of him.

Lets rest for a week or so and come back and kick some puppy dog butt!!

Exactly my feelings about this game. Mainly OLine and drops. We're light years ahead of the team that went to Oregon last year. Proud of Worley tonight. He earned a lot of respect in my book.

Everyone seems to forget this is one of the best teams in the country and maybe the best team we face all year!

Also, everyone was stating that their D-line was their biggest strength and our O-line was our biggest weakness.

Battling the #4 team and the #1 Refs :banghead2: in a hostile environ is not easy.

14 easy points turned into a pic and a pic six, turnovers and lack of run blocking for most of the game killed us.

I think we will be very competitive with the rest of our schedule! Really, who had this game as a win before the season??

I notice the bad angles multiple times but Sutton was there to clean it up after another 20 yards. lol. Offensive play calling absolutely killed us. It was horrendous. Defense I truly thought played really well even though they gave up 27.

Yes, I did not mention that, figured it would get brought up.. the last part of the game when Worley threw the interception..... I was amazed that was the play that was chosen....... something has to happen.

I don't know how you build up the line mid season. What we need is size, speed, strength and depth. I didn't see so many missed assignments tonight as I did our guys getting blown off the line or outrun around the end. What we need can't be coached.

Does everyone here not remember how young our OL/DL's are? Come on, 55 is going to grow up immensely after tonight...

Probably no magic formula

Wish I had some fairy dust to sprinkle on their heads

BARBARIANS AT THE GATE. This team did not quit. We were one pick away from a 10 point loss. Get real. This team is going to grow each week. These idiots that say we will lose to KY and gators want us to lose. This ship is on course. If you don't agree, then get out of the way.

We also need a punter who can average more than 35 yds a kick. Or at least flip the field every once in a while...
