Doesn't matter if you want Cuonzo fired or not, as Vol fans we should still support the Vols. It's been said all year, but the season isn't over. This team can either winout or lose to Florida and still make the tournament.

Personally, I love March Madness and I would rather prefer that our Vols are seeded, even if it's a 10-12 seed.

I can't wait to do brackets even if the vols probably won't be there. Hopefully they will prove me wrong.

I care that's why it pi$$es me off so much when they play like crap against inferior competition.

Honestly, we need to change up our rotation if we want to winout. Something tells me Armani Moore is a key to winning games. Whenever Armani gets 8 minutes or more a game, we seem to come out with a win. I think Maymon/Stokes combo is costing us on the defensive end as neither protect the rim well. As a result we have to rely on per man-to-man and we still get beat when opponents attack the rim.

Maybe if the NCAA expands to the field 104, we can play in the Big Dance next year???

I'm looking forward to next season. I love March Madness and it's not the same without our Vols in it. Unfortunately, our best bet in the tourney is to get hot for a couple games (a la UVA & LSU back to back or Ole Miss & Bama back to back) and then go flaming. Would be a fun couple games....but then we have next year and Zo to look forward to.

Sorry guys. Trying not to be debbie downer but every game I watch, even in victory, reinforces that Zo does not have a chance to be successful at UT.

I find I have better chances of doing well in March Madness when the Vols aren't there because I don't home pick them for a few rounds :)

Everyone supports the players. It's the staff we revile.
As Samuel Clemens famously opined: "Patriotism is supporting your country all the time and your government when it deserves it." That's analogous to how the fans feel about Vol sports.

I don't know how Tennessee is losing these games.

Statistically, the second chance opportunities are far above the norm.

Marshall Henderson on this team would be scary. He could take all the crazy shots he wants and it wouldn't matter because stokes and maymon would get the rebound

I've been one of CCM biggest critics but I will be at most of our remaining home games because I'm a Vol fan, win or lose.
I agree we should still come & support the team regardless!

GO VOLS!

Haha as do I! I remember the last time we made it under BP and that don't help me at all!

The scarier part is some would trade him for McRae...smh

So, we should just sit idly by while Martin wastes some of the best talent that we've had in awhile? Sorry, he's going to catch hell along with the players that think it's too cool to bust their asses on the court.

I still support the players, but I've known for some time that Martin is not going to work out. The sooner he leaves/gets fired, the better off this program will be. The longer he stays on will just cause this program to bleed to death.

Anyone that enjoys watching UT blow out an Ole Miss or Bama and then turn around and lose games against A & M and Vandy is a straight up masochist. We've been here before. A Martin coached team does this every single year.

You and many others overestimate the talent on this team. There are a lot of issues and problems with this team. Cuonzo's fault for not getting it right with recruiting, but to say this is the best talent we've had in a long time is a stretch.

It's the best talent we've had since Martin has been here. We haven't had a good point guard in some time and that is what is killing this team among other things. However, I don't expect to beat a Fla type team with this talent. I do expect to beat a horrible A & M team at home and a Vandy team with 7 scholarship players on their squad. I don't think that is asking too much. Not to mention the losses to NC State and UTEP that should've been wins. When you beat a Virginia team by 35 points then you have some talent. It is inconsistent talent, but there is talent.

If you are right about the talent level this yr, it is really depressing bc the talent goes way down next yr.

Right. Those who want the vols to lose and hope they don't make the tournament is just coo coo and selfish. Think how disappointing it would be for the guys especially the seniors and juniors to not have their name said come selection Sunday. I'll admit cuonzo is not the best coach in the world, but at least we're not a terrible team. Cuonzo is a man of high character and doesn't have his players running into trouble ( except for kenny hall and Makanjuola) unlike ahem bruce . Vol fans are overreacting and being too dramatic because we lost on the road in a rivalry game by four. I'm going to support the vols no matter what. VFL
