If the environmentalists willnot let us drill in the most remote corner of the planet in Alaska, there seems to be no hope of them allowing us to drill anywhere else.
I think the N.Dakota issue has been less about environmentalists and more about difficult drilling situations. The oil is apparently hard to locate and standard vertical drilling doesn't tap into the pockets.
