Lets not send Jake to the chopping block just yet

We already put the guy on the chopping block that caused all these oline problems, DOOLEY, EVERYONE HERE IS BLAMING THE CURRENT COACHES FOR THE O LINE ISSUES. REMEMBER COACH DOONOTHING did not recruit any oline players. So these coaches do not have any, talk about the cupboard being bare, h€!! DOONOTHING SOLD THE CUPBOARD. So give these guys credit for being creative, bringing Roberson over from D line and piece milling a line together as best they can. R ember the blame lays at the feet of DUUFUS though.

I was unaware that Dooley was calling offensive plays last night.

True freshmen Right guard, tackle, TE. I'm surprised it wasn't worse than it was. This coaching staff is great. Croom catches TD , they get fumble call right. We're right in it. No one needs to even think about firing any of these coaches. Let it be known when this staff got here the players hated Tennessee. They have changed that completely around in a short time.

No that wasn't Crooms fault. He was overthrown and did all he could do to prevent the interception.

Besides the 2nd pick play call there's no reason to say Jakes days are number. He has had some good games. Last year his hands were tied with no QB. Now he has no Oline. If you can't run the ball and Worley is getting sacked left and right what exactly do you do? When we have BOTH good QB and OL play then we can decide if he isnt a good OC. They tried a few things WR sweep and bubble screens that didn't work but nothing worked very well.

The only coach who needs fired is the ST coach. Young should be kicked in the butt every timf he runs thr ball out and qhy would you call off the dogs after 2 near punt blocks?

My problem is where is the common sense. The score was 27 to 10 and we needed one yard for a first down why throw? If you can't make one yard on a run you line up and kick a field goal make it a two possessions game. Butch always talking about being a physical football team and the one play where you don't want to be a finesse team that is when you line up and be one. I'm not calling for him to be fired but his thinking and game strategy has to improve. We have to be able to make one yard and if we can't them we could at least considering the score get it down to a two possession game.

That was not Crooms fault. It was badly overthrown. If we just got a FG there and dont have the horrible play csall on 3rd and 2 its a game. OU Coaches knew exactly what the call was with an empty backfield. Atleast disguise it with leaving a RB back with Worley. We had been running the ball well in that drive and don't understand that call at all. The game was a lot closer than the score indicated.

Agreed. No way we couldn't have gotten 2 yards on 2 plays the wall we had run the ball that drive.

Really! This fan base amazes me. There is always someone that wants somebody fired. You would think our fans would have learned by now that firing coaches left and right does not fix the problem of lack of talent and depth. We could have been in this game with a couple of things going our way. Say we get the fumble recovery and score. That's a 14 point swing, Worley throws to wolf open in the back of the end zone instead of a pick six, another 14 point swing then let's say Croom actually catches the TD that's another 7 point swing. 3 plays and we could have been IN THE GAME! We all knew we were out manned especially on the Oline playing 3 freshman on the right side against one of the best pass rushing defenses in CFB. If we are down 3 at the end of this game everyone is going to get praise. We knew we would get beat in many aspects of this game. Some just seem to forget we were playing possibly the best defense in the country last night with a very Youthful offense. I am actually excited about our future.

I agree he was not given a chance to catch that ball. That ball needs to be thrown more to the inside and it is a TD.

Yes sir you're right! That was all Worley on that one. What is concerning is that is 3 int's and a fumble by Worley the last 6 quarters. Not blaming him, a lot of that is on the oline, especially the fumble. But the pick six was half play calling and half Worley. North had 3 guys all over him he should have thrown it away or he had an open lane he could have gotte a yard or 2. But that's the best front 7 we will play this yr so it was a great chance for the 9Oline to grow up!

we can't send him anywhere. its pretty obvious that we have nothing behind him he has to play. it just makes me wonder what will happen next year.

You are right about the front 7. After watching the rest of the East play yesterday we have a chance to have a better than predicted season. GA, SC and FLA all did not look very good an defense yesterday.

Good gawd man, are you blind? That pass was PERFECT!! It went right between croom's hands and he wasn't leaning forward as if overthrown. He just isn't a good receiver. He dropped two more while wide open. That interception is ALL on Croom. No question.

Edit: I assume you are talking about pick in corner of end zone.

From what I saw that was my thinking as well, the ball went right through his hands into the db's hands.
