Or at least put Ainge back in and get him ready to compete again.  Who knows, he might just stretch the field out for us.  At least it would be a deep ball threat even if we would have to get lucky to actually complete it.

I would almost bet the farm on Ainge starting at Bama.

That's it? With the special occasion and all, you could have at least dropped some wisdom on us. :dunno:

if peyton suddenly gains one game of eligibility and decides to lay down one million he makes per game. and qb's us for this one game, the we might have a chance. if j. allen heals miraculously over the bye week, we might have a chance. if r. sanders is fired and we hire the guy who runs texas tech's offense, we might have a chance. if god himself comes from the heavens and plays qb for us, WE MIGHT HAVE A CHANCE.

if bama doesnt show up... we might have a chance. but who knows, we may muff a punt attempt and take a safety... then our offense would actually have to drive down the field and make a field goal. that may be too much to ask.

We are winning and losing games based on a very limited number of plays (generally the case in football) that aren't going our way.

Given that, I'm not worried about the Bama game. The teams are pretty evenly matched (as we were with LSU, FL, and GA). Should be a typical UT/Bama game.

in rivalries, anything can happen. i hope we meet them when they are unbeaten.. i dont see them losing to ole miss.

Maybe we oughtta just forfeit the rest of the season.

This board this week is just like the fans that leave Neyland during the 3rd quater. Thank God our team or the fans didn't leave Baton Rouge after the 2nd half. So we have lost 2 games this season and the SEC championship is out of the question, but we still have 6 games left to pull for our beloved VOLS. This is what Big Orange football is all about! Living for September, Volwalk, Salute to the Hill, Running thru the "T", and football time in Tennessee. I drive two and half hours one way each week to watch the Vols play at home, I will be making the trip to Bama as well as the rest of the games (except Notre Dame). I will be pulling for the Vols no matter what the outcome is. I have always bled Orange and always will. Lets get back on the bandwagon and finish out the season in Big Orange fashion.

I invite you all to enjoy what i have been waiting on for awhile now. The Vols will be dismantled in T-Town.

When all is said and done Bama is still Bama and the Vols are still the Vols. Remember that the Vols haven't lost in Tuskalooser since 1930.

Well said allvolinky, I'm a vol fan win or lose. Finish the rest with wins, get a decent bowl win and get ready for next year.

That was pretty funny CBC. Now that this pressure is out of their system. Maybe our boys will play to have fun. Who knows, they may play some backyard ball and win. Now all eyes on bammer. They might try too hard and end up blowing it. Hey, I can dream can't I??

Hey a VNMOD needs to pin this thread on the front page. Thanks
