I will give you a little dose of truth cyrum. As long as CCM is our coach at U.T., the only dance we will be going to is the N.I.T.

I like CCM. He is a no nonsense type of coach. He doesn't tolerate off the court issues. He is not contraversial as a coach. He doesn't say stupid things during interviews and he represents the University well.
He also has us listed as one of the top 3 choices of all of the recruits that he chooses to pursue. So, he is a good recruiter. He may not get all of the recruits that he pursue's but who does.

However; when we lose to Austin Peay, College of Charleston etc. etc. I lose faith in his coaching abilities.

That is a very interesting post. I was disappointed after those losses as well, but it is very clear that last year's team was much better than his first year. That first year took about half the season, and finally, the light bulb came on and we beat UF twice, UConn, and Vandy. Last year, we did not lose any games to bad teams. You can argue about the early games, but we lost to good teams.

To me, it all comes down to PG, and that is what makes this Golden situation interesting. If Martin can just find a decent replacement, I think this team can succeed.

I feel alright with Thompson he is probably gonna be better than Trae by his sophomore season. We do need a backup and right now Lopez gets that job because we can't seem to find a player that wants to come here.

This is Tennessee a football school not pussy cat land, think how there football fans feel, least we got a chance every few years they know right know that in the next 100 years they want be higher than a fourth at best and 80 of those years sixth or the basement, think about it you could be a pussy cat fan.
