No, that's not what I said at all. There was an internet buzz for awhile and his name got mentioned in the press, that's what I discussed on here. I never once said he was going to get the job or was one of the top candidates. But like most things on here, some take things way out of context to fit their agenda.

Another thread dwindles down to personal attacks. I for one appreciate LawVol's input on a lot of subjects. IE on the other hand is only good for a sleazy avatar picture of some white trash chick well out of his league.

Just read today's news. The scout team with four 4* players beat the starters yesterday in practice. Pearl says they look good, very good, and will see plenty of playing time next year. He feels for these guys as they are great players who just can't beat out Pearl, McBee, Bone, and Fields for any playing time. He says Hall is one of the best offensive post players he has ever seen, but doesn't rebound well enough to see the floor this year.

I just have a hard time believing a group of guys that can't beat out two glorified walk-ons (three I suppose, but I feel Bone is a legit D-1 player), and a guy who has 3 of 4 years in mid-major ball will suddenly see the light and become unstoppable forces next year.

Just not buying.

In addition, if I have a guy who is legitimately one of the best offensive post players in my 20+ years of coaching on my team, I'm going to find a way to get him minutes on the floor, esp with the second team who don't seem capable of throwing the ball in the ocean without missing at times.
