Liberty Bowl, USCe vs. Houston

Well, that game took about 10 years off of this ole boy's life!

I'm just glad that we won. I thought that our defense would have been able to slow them down a little more, but maybe Houston is a pretty decent team. I know that Kolb is one of the best QB we've seen all year.

I think the best part of the night for me was when I received a text from a Clemson buddy of mine after the game that simply said, "Congrats." That must have been the most painful 8-letters he ever punched into his phone!

You just have to wonder what in the world happened to the Tigers. They were 7-1 and ranked #10 in the country when they went to Blacksburg. Ever since that loss to Va Tech, they have won only one game and ended the season 8-5.

With all of that talent, I think that there are some serious questions about why they weren't in the ACC title game and a possible BCS game as opposed to the Gaylord Bowl.

With FSU and Miami down, Clemson should have ran away with the ACC. I can't understand why Bowden isn't in trouble over there.

Would a SC win make them the 88th program to win a bowl game since ND last did? I saw they hadn't won a December game since '60
Nah, they might not've won in December, but they beat Ohio State two years in a row in the Outback Bowl under Holtz.
