Lil Wayne tweet

Do you know him personally? So why do you give a **** what someone says about him on a message board. He's the last person UT wants to be associated with. And there is a lot more negative to focus on than positive

You hear about the negative because the press eats it up. Watch the news everynight. One positive piece, then nothing but bad things. A controversial rapper who does good things isn't considered "newsworthy" and Lil Wayne doesn't go out of his way to drum up PR. He doesn't care what people think of him, he just does what he feels. While other celebs are asking for donations from families that can't afford it, Lil Wayne is giving his own money because he's made plenty of it. As for why I'm defending him, it's because you give no viable reason to hate on him. And as for last person UT wants to be associated with, what about Leonard Little, Dwayne Goodrich, and Dante Stallworth?

We all want to be connected to something special. Coach Summitt is that great and special individual. Get connected!

I would use it as a recruiting tool. Wayne is one of the most popular artists with the 25 and under crowd right now. I grew up in a redneck backwoods community and every kid wanted to be black and rap like wayne and every girl wanted to do him (not making this up at all). I could only imagine it gets worse the bigger the city.

Every tool you have use it. If he came out with a rocky top remix it would be a top 40 hit whether it was the worst rap in the history of mankind or not.

I was being sarcastic. Pat Summit doesn't recruit the Lil Wayne types. However, in men's basketball, a coach would be all over it.

don't know if serious, but it is definitely him haha

It's his song, but that's definitely not him rapping. It's called a sample...

It's not like he gets up on stage and repeats "A Milli" himself like 10 times in a row

I'm still trying to figure out why in the world would anyone follow Lil Wayne on Twitter?

I'd like to hear you explain what a "Lil' Wayne type" is so you can get laughed at.

It's one thing to not like his music and make generalizations about him as a person. It's just plain stupid to try and lump the entire listening base of one of the most popular artists of the younger generation into one derogatory category. So congrats for that.
