If I was a Florida fan I would be thinking
They have one of the best point guards in the country ZZ a Senior 4 year starter
They have 2 Seniors whose dads are coaches & have lived with & fed Bball knowledge their whole life. Gainey & Igor
They have a Senior who is on his way to an All American year Lanier
They have one of the best defenders in the Country another 4 year Senior Mashack
This is a well coached team with many years experience, if I was UF I wouldnt put any money on a win

Based on the collective performance to date of all the SEC teams, conference road wins will all be tough to come by. But, I’m surprised so many on here are predicting us having little to no chance of winning at Florida. Would think after winning 14 straight and being ranked #1 that folks would be more optimistic.

I like how we match up with them as we’ve got the size of Igor, Cade, and Felix to offset their large post players. I’d put ZZZ, Lanier, and Gainey up against any guard group in the nation. Then we have the nation’s top defender in Mashack. It’s a veteran group that won’t be impacted by the home crowd. Don’t know the betting line but to me this is a pick ‘em at worst. JMO

Auburn is on another level compared to every other team in the country based on what they’ve done away from home so far. I’ve watched nearly all of their games. I don’t see them having a letdown at Neville Arena, especially if we’re still in the top 5/top 10 when we visit.

Hard to see so far I agree.. Here’s the thing for me, I don’t care what the defensive rankings are of the teams they’ve played so far.. they still haven’t played a defense like UTs. We might go down and you be 100% right. But no matter how good they are they rt now, they still will have mental lapses and breakdowns. Similar to football w the X factor being which team turns it over/protects the ball, our advantage hopefully/should be discipline and control over whatever they have going on rt now. Only watched them a couple of times and they do look good. Not trying to say they don’t

Could very well be a Final Four preview. Our #1 KenPom defense vs their #1 offense, and their #14 defense vs our #20 offense.

Yep. Paying players has been a thing in college football and basketball since probably the 1950s. Only difference is now it doesn’t have to be under the table.

John Wooden may have been a fantastic coach but he did not win 10 natties in 12 years just by being better at coaching than everyone else. Sam Gilbert buying cars for players to go to UCLA played a part in that.
