I really want somebody to know what's going on in our search, but all these vague threads just seem senseless. I want bold predictions rather than murky ones. Then if it happens to be true, I can acknowledge that he/she is right.

If I knew for absolutely sure who the new coach was, I would put it out there and then be taking high dollar bets from the neigh sayers and promptly retire after the announcement.

I think we both know that the Gruden talks were not what everyone made them out to be. I wanted him, but I can also be pleased with another candidate.

I'm older and ecred means nothing to me. Dont consider me in the "know" just consider me a fellow Vol fan. I reported DD was fired and Chaney was interm. Nobody listened. I'm a little pissed off right now because of some of the things said in this thread. I will get over it.

A large percentage of the posters on here are kids and have no respect for posters trying to discuss the Vols. just ignore them and keep bringing good info to us.

That's because you said it at least a full week before it happened and said there would be a news conference on the Monday before the Vandy game. 99.9% of Vol fans could predict DD was going to be fired and Chaney was the only possibility for interim coach. Your just another fortune teller trying to trick the masses.

Hope i wasnt one of the people that upset you. I didn't say anything about your post besides naming the people i hoped it wasn't.
Anyway sorry if i did upset you, but is there anyway we can get a name???? Not that I don't believe you, it would just be nice to finally know who our next coach will be. This whole process has been a mess and from the sounds of it hart isn't the great ad we all thought he was. But then again most of what has been said so far has been false so theres really no way of telling if hart is or isn't a good AD, at least until the process is over and a new coach is named.
