They havent tackled all year
They’ve missed a lot of tackles. This was different. They weren’t attempting them. Hadden did it multiple times. Flowers, who is typically one of the more aggressive hitters also did it. Oh just grab the first down run over here and I’ll gently escort you to the sideline. Hope your folks are doing well.

Yea, they have quit in years past but i didnt see that, honestly its one of the things Heupel can hang his hat on, they dont quit but I will say they seemed off in that game across the board from their norm maybe the inner turmoils took their toll.

I love it when we score as many as we can, but karma always comes around at some point.
We have them in our house next year. I don't know what the exact score was when Hendon tore his ACL, fumbled the ball and SC scooped it up and ran it in for a touchdown. This needs to be reminded to every Vol player every day.

Are you saying SC shouldn't of scoped it and ran it ?

SC probably didn't do themselves any favors, and granted, we helped them a lot. They're gonna give Beamer a pass for the next 2 years.....and I think it's a bad mistake. But I'll take it.....the longer he's around will be in our favor.

I'm interested in their game with Clemson. If SC drops back to reality, then that's all I need to know. SC stuck in neutral for the next 2-3 years. We've been down that road already. I'd like to stay off of it for as long as possible.

I was pondering the game today, this wont be a popular opinion probably but I think the Offense was just as much to blame as the defense in this loss or at least the entire weight of the loss should not fall on the defense and here's why, we know our defense is mediocre at best, they have been all year, there was three other teams we played who like South Carolina scored on us on nearly every possession, Florida, Alabama and Georgia -which is a bit of speculation but I think after seeing the SC game that Georgia actually did let off the gas instead of our D tightening up- in those games tho our offense scored on nearly every possession and had to for us to win, had they not we would have two more losses, honestly if Banks had played and if Hendon hadnt gotten hurt which not only cost us him playing but gave them a easy score to boot I think this was a winnable game but it would have been in the same fashion as Florida/Alabama, our offense looked way better in the close game wins than against SC, unfortunately that has been the formula for us to win big games this year and in this game the O didnt do everything we needed to pull out a win, the defense honestly played the same as they have in the other big games, terrible.

Maybe I'm in a minority but I don't miss the days of letting off the gas. If you can hang a 100 on somebody do it. Play it to win it the whole game and if they can't stop you too bad. I didn't have a problem when we did it to Mizzou and don't have a problem with SC doing it to us either.
we had the second's and third's in in the fourth quarter against Mizzo. Is the coach supposed to tell them not to play their best or not to score?
