LIZARDS lose to UCF

I don’t give damn what y’all say. The Gator fans called Billy Napier a bargain bin fingers crossed he pans out for 8 wins weak conference up and comer hire when his name was mentioned for us. Now he is hired to Florida and he’s the 2nd coming of Spurrier. He essentially blew off recruits for depth vs coaching them up like he was hired to do. Now he is a genius for it. The hypocrisy with this guy and Gator fans knows no bounds.

As for Tennessee vs Florida….we have a head coach that has an edge now. The only other head coach with this type of killer instincts to be on the Tennessee sideline in the last 15 years is Kiffin. Players come and go. The coaches always got out coached or in Butch’s case out coached himself with his decisions against Florida. Heupel will pour it on and make you stop it for 60 minutes. We very well can flip this series with him at the helm now.

I think the realization of just how much needs to be fixed has set in with the showing at the bowl game.

It minimum they need an entire roster flip
Will Napier be there to see it through only time will tell but if history is any indication he’ll be out because the spoiled fanbase won’t see the big picture.

I love every minute of Florida's misery and defeat. I hope it rolls over into next season and we finally turn the corner on this series.
Normally I root for every SEC team, but right now we need some programs to falter, so we can shine. It's just how it goes. We still lost to this team though 😰

SEC is 0-2 in bowl games. I'm not an "SEC, SEC" guy because I'm yet to see how georgie and bubba winning helps UT. But it will be interesting to see how this bowl season proceeds.
Count aTm as a loss also. Canceled their bowl due the bug that has been going around and because of too many injuries.

Kinda funny that those annoying gator trolls havent been around lately.

The season has been terrible. It would be a lie to say otherwise. But, I moved past that a long time ago.

Other than it being UCF and knowing you'd take a certain amount of grief for losing, I don't know anyone who cared about the result of the Gasparilla Bowl. I didn't even know there was a Gasparilla Bowl until Florida earned the invite.

So, speaking for myself and everyone I know, we are all looking forward to the new era which can't begin soon enough.

Whether it will be good or bad, we'll see.

Those who cheer for Florida believe and hope it will lead to great things. Those who compete against Florida hope for the most terrible of results.

The positive I take moving forward in the short term is that a lot of what occurred on the field was a result of complete disfunction. So, some level of progress can be made immediately. However, to win championships, it's going to take a while. That's pretty clear.

SEC East is an incredibly weak division. SEC West carries the league. Other than Georgia, the entire division is full of weak schools. Thank God we have not had to compete in the West all these years. At least we get to beat the terrible programs in the East each year to at least make us falsely think we are getting better at the end of each year.

I typically like to route for the SEC team but must admit seeing UCF beat the lizards feels nice.

Just can’t wait for 2022 to get here. I see a long streak of beat-downs com’n and in Vol favor.

Not sure which route your taking, but I’m rooting for the Vols to rout the Boilermakers!!!

Game ended in a brawl. Spirit of the season? On another note, Gator Bowl filled vacancy with...(drum roll)...Rutgers.

I just wonder if this is not the way (maybe not as bad) many Fla. high school games go. I have watch several of the Fla. HS games on TV over the last few years and they look a lot like this game. Chipey, belligerent, down right nasty and on occasion TV will show a fight among a couple or even whole teams (they usually go away to commercial or face to face with the clowns announcing the game). So with the way this game went I am not surprised it's how they grew up in the game.

I made like 1500 off their loss...

Congrats! Now, are you a Democrat or Republican?

DEMOCRAT: Redistribute 50% of your winnings to the rest of your VN friends
REPUBLICAN: Keep the dough and hire a new employee.

Whether you win tons o cash or no cash at all on a Florida Loss, it just gives us all a little bit extra zip in our step, doesn't??

Thx Gators for the early Xmas gift.

Gator fans are in for a rude awakening. Who cares that Billy Boy won a freakin’ press conference! He is Beldar Cornbread.2! His in game coaching will have UF spinning in circles very quickly! He’s totally overrated. And also, how is it now all of the sudden that if a coach spends one season or less under Satan they are a protege? Gimme a freakin’ break! Hopefully this season end and Billy’s start next fall all begins UF’s slide into an abyss like we’ve been in! They deserve it!

Dude our rivals winning national championships the last 15 years hasn’t helped us at all. I root for Tennessee in the SEC and that’s it screw the rest of them.
Agree. There’s always going to be plenty of pull to the sec. just see this year top 3 so far and how many sec teams in top 25 after early signing. I’d argue that a Michigan or OSU or FSU or PAC 10 team getting back helps liquidate Bama and UGA to a small degree. Not good for rest of sec when Bama/UGA are foregone conclusion to win NC every year...I’m even OK w TaM getting stronger if it means weakening Bama

I wish we had gotten them later in the season, when we played them they weren't a bad team, they lost to bama by 1 touchdown if I'm not mistaken and then the wheels fell off, it's really a shame we should've beat them multiple times through the years but we always find a way to lose
