My mistake; Penix was committed to the Vols but Jeremy Pruitt pulled the offer.
It’s Pruitt’s first time as a college head coach, and calling the 11 players who were committed to Tennessee at the time was almost certainly one of the first things on his to-do list. Sure enough, Pruitt called Penix last week to tell the quarterback he was honoring his commitment.

That changed Wednesday, when Penix received a text asking him to call the UT football office. Penix said that when he made the call, new offensive coordinator Ty Helton told him not to come on the official visit to Knoxville that had been planned months earlier.

Apparently, the Vols had another pro-style quarterback they were bringing in to visit.

The fact that Georgia doesn't have to play in the Swamp is an abomination and every team in the SEC should complain (on deaf ears of course).

The Lizards don't have to play in Athens

If it's an advantage for anybody it's Florida. It's like an hour and a half from their campus, like if we played Georgia every year at a stadium in Cookeville.

Regarding this year's game, fact is UGA simply has superior athletes to UF. And thr gap is significant.

I was just happy to see us continue to improve on fundamentals and getting basic things correct, fewer dumb penalties.

The UF-UGA game should never leave Jacksonville.

Florida fans loved the first 4:00 of the game.

The game was located in Jax in ther 1930s because: the second largest Bulldog Club is in Jax, and it makes it easier for Dawg fans in South GA and North FL to watch the game. Kirby hates it because the teams cannot host recruits.

Can't recall, having tried to erase all memories of Pruitt's time at UT.
