I know what you're trying to say, bite me!🤣 He is a good guy, and treats her good. Only crazy thing he ever said was when he found out I don't watch NASCAR, because he loves it. I'm sure you remember, but he's not white (like it matters), but relevant to what he said. He told me he was kinda disappointed I didn't like it, and I was the only white person he knew that didn't 🤣. I can't remember how far Orlando is from Daytona, but he's excited about being close enough to go to it. I might have to dig deep, and go with him, just so it'd be something we share together.
My first husband was a NASCAR guy, and I went along with it, but I'll have to admit that I did a lot of balancing my checkbook in my head along the way. The exception was races with Darrell Waltrip. I paid attention there.

I always preferred road races! (Road America, etc.) I like watching cars having to turn both left AND right!

Racing and hockey are the same to me. I like the highlights of the wrecks and fights, but that's about it 👀

I thought the same thing until I went to a TB Lightning game back in the day. Ditto for the Daytona 500 when I got pit passes back in the late 90s.

You don’t realize how fast and hard those hockey players are skating, and how fast those cars are moving until you’re there in person.

I'm sure it'd be a fun experience, and I'd be willing to go to have something to further bond with my son in law with.

Good plan. You will be glad you did. When you get a chance to do something special, do it. Since Covid, I look things differently. I don't so casually dismiss opportunities.

Their schedule might be the toughest in College football history. I cannot believe they are playing every Power School In Florida. Miami, UCF and FSU. You lose all of those games and that’s an uphill battle in recruiting.
Eh they could be undefeated before they play us. It’s hard but not the hardest. And they have the talent. Just not the coaching. We’ve played uf, uga, and bama in a months time every year for who knows how many until like two years ago. All that said, I hope they lose as many games as possible. Burn it down.

11 Power 4 opponents is pretty tough. They get Miami, Texas A&M and UCF at home early on, but the back half of their schedule is brutal. Outside of Kentucky, they’ll be the underdog in every game from mid October until the end of the season.

Agreed. Making bowl eligibility will be a challenge and should be considered a success with that schedule. Let’s hope they fall flat on their dumb faces.

If they make bowl eligibility then Napier should be kept on. It feels like there isn’t much confidence down there though.

One thing I don’t do is talk s*** about beating FLA after how they’ve handled us quite easily over the past 20 + years. We’ve beaten them five times since our National Championship season in 98. Five. Only beat them three times in the 90s. They only won five games last season and ran through us like we weren’t even there.

If Florida loses 2 games by the first bye week, Napier might be concerned. If one of those is Miss State in Starkville he probably should pack. Weird stuff happens in Starkville, especially to the Gators for some reason .

Fans want to see improvement this year: we realize that with this schedule that might not come in the simple form of Ws and Ls. Just a sense that there is improvement and that we've identified the weak spots and work to fill them.

But next year, if it continues in some sort of slog form of just middle of the SEC pack, Napier won't last.

Napier will be fired after his third losing season in a row. Hopefully the AD goes with him (a reasonable assumption if billy is fired) and we bring in someone new to conduct the next search. Number one priority will be to hold on to Lagway and keep him from transferring to the aggies.

Last time we fired a coach after losing in Starkville, we hired a guy who won a couple titles.

Then he started banging coeds and his wife found out, which led to “heart issues”, but not after his wife was banging the WR coach, who got punched in the face by our stud WR.

Good times.

They should make a documentary about it or something .

Edit: the more I think about it, it really was a soap opera down there. You had affairs, a murderer, who from all accounts was a complete lunatic, crime, a preacher who was the moral balance. You guys had it all.

Forgot to mention our stud WR punched the WR coach in the face in practice with zero repercussions.

In his defense, that WR suffered from migraine headaches which affected his judgment.

The only solution to this problem was copious amounts of marijuana.

Percy. Dude was so good he could outrun everybody on the field while under the influence of enough weed to couchlock a rhinoceros.

He also liked throwing hands.
I was so happy to see him gone. Easily top 5 or probably top 3 player I feared the most from the Gators. He was always a threat to break a play.
