No, as a conservative I find it appalling that trump has to go out to these things to feel affirmed. It’s scary that there are that many out of touch idiots. Trump is simply shouting into the echo chamber. He has no real domestic policy and his foreign policy is to make us hated by everyone.

Show me one politician that’s not yelling into an echo chamber in today politics and I’ll show you one that’s not long for their office . Hyper partisan politics is where we are at right now . To be fair , for someone with no real domestic policy , I’m not seeing the struggle here , we seem to be rocking on pretty good . Have you seen a presidents foreign Policy that didn’t have the world hating on the US ? When I say world , I don’t mean those little elitist euro leaders that gather up in circles like mean girls , and talk about us and how we just aren’t like them and woke enough .

Yes, but wasn’t that the whole message from trump? Drain the swamp? Instead he brought in a bunch of financial goons with the ethics of a Chicago mobster.
Trump has tried to bully his way into foreign policy. Don’t get me wrong, Obama’s feckless pandering isn’t the answer. I’m sick of fellow conservatives trying to defend this loon. He’s a friggin nut who acts like a 12 year old girl on Twitter. He says **** that is 100% false and his base licks it up.

We knew what he was even before he was elected . He’s always been a bully a cheat and a liar . Those are just facts . Luther loves him some Republicans at fault but when we are honest with ourselves we have to ask how did we get to a point to where Hillary and Trump could be the ones we had to choose from . Regardless of the demographics or numbers we as society got to a point where we were tired of the way the government was being ran and the hard positions our politicians were taking economically and culturally . That opened the door for Trump to run as a disruptor to break up the circle jerk . Instead of seeing that and saying I get it and we will just put up someone more centrist ( and competent) looks like we are just going to double down again .

Even if you are simple minded enough give him 100% credit for the stock market and unemployment*, I can name a lot more things he's done that conservatives hate/claim to hate.

300 campaign promises? I need to see this list. Promising to do something conservatives claim are stupid and then doing them shouldn't count for the purposes of this convo.

*unemployment was dramatically lower in 2016 vs. 2008 and I highly doubt you talk up Obama for that.
