Even if they keep Pearl they're going to be terrible for a few years. This team talent wise resembles a Buzz Peterson team more so than what Pearl has had on the hill in recent years.

Sanctions and Pearl may get suspended again, how can this be a good move in the overall scheme of things?

I don't know, these guys making the decisions up there just about look like clowns anymore, it's sad really. Blindly follow Bruce off the cliff because he made them a buck or two.
