Can't see Lofton sneaking onto an NBA roster. Seems like he'd be better off financially by playing overseas.

I know, right? Do you think he knows something we don't about a possible call-up based on D-league success though? The draft position was way better than I anticipated.

That's good to hear. I just happened to go to the site as it was starting and saw Chris picked. I wasn't expecting any vols to be picked that high so I was surprised. The funny thing is that I texted him a congrats when I saw it, and he texted me back and asked what pick he was. I thought it was funny that he didn't know yet but he said he wasn't around a computer.

Steve Forbes and Al Gore were monitoring the Interwebs for him. They got tied up on Volnation during the draft...

Yes. But there's something about saying to your kids "I played in the Association."

Jason Kidd was one of the best defensive guards in the last 20 years.

Don't interject facts with the clueless. At 35 and after microfracture surgery, he can't effectively guard the elite point guards, but he's still a solid defender.

Wow are you serious? Someone saying that Stephen Curry couldn't beat out either one of the Magic PGs is calling me clueless. How about you go watch Jason Kidd's defense the last 3 years. It's age, but like I said there are many teams that want Nash and Kidd right now even though they are terrible on defense. Stephen Curry is one of the most fundamentally sound players there is, and you say he's overrated. If you think Stephen Curry is overrated then you need to go watch film of him after the ASB last year.
