Gallup report of most livable states: Kentucky (48th)
Most obese states: Kentucky (10th-worst)
Most unemployed states: Kentucky (35th). We have Cleveland, Youngstown, and Steubenville, yet have a lower percentage of unemployed than Kentucky.

Suggested new state slogan (by me): "Marginally better than Mississippi, but with crappier food"

Kentucky has 64 colleges and universities, Ohio has 174 (5th-most in the country).

We grow corn to feed the people, as well as the livestock that produces enormous amounts of food. You grow corn to turn into alcohol, undoubtedly to escape from the reality that Kentucky sucks.

We have two NFL teams, two MLB teams, one NBA team, and one NHL team. You have UK basketball, run with a set of ethics that would make the Cincinnati Bengals shake their heads.

Our fried chicken is better than yours.

Kentucky has 226 high schools with football teams, Ohio has 721. We both have six state championships. Ours require running a gauntlet of the best in the state. Kentucky gives everyone a trophy and a state championship for simply being able to gear up without drooling on themselves, which is why 220 schools fall short every year.

Ohio State is worse, but not by much.

I love you spent so much energy on this...you should learn to let some s*** go bruh

It's Indiana, where standards used to be much higher.

I agree with this. A smaller program not known for basketball, maybe. But Indiana and College Basketball are synonymous. They're preseason number 1. You can't really go out and get rings for a sweet 16.

I love how people just missed the point of this thread and used it to bash other users. That's just downright stupid of them.

Yes, it is funny to see such a storied program celebrate a "meager achievement" by elite standards. But on the other hand, the program has been trying to come back after years of failure. It's nice to see them back, I like the competition.

Maybe you are right, so I will give Indiana this one bit of solace.

An Indiana sweet sixteen ring will be celebrated more and revered to a higher level than anything the University of Ohio could ever achieve, which admittedly is little.

Your teams success makes you superior.

Glad you learned this early in life.

Calipari is a cheater and Big Ben rapes women. Their success is your success.

Given how these Indiana kids stuck around to resurrect the program, exceeded expectations, but fell short against superior competition, I think Indiana should do something totally off the wall....like retire their jerseys at Assembly Hall.

How crazy stupid weird would that be? UK fans would have a field day if Indiana did something that outrageous. :loco:

Bump. eff Indiana. Exposed tonight.

They can stop crying tho. They'll cut down the nets when they get back to Bloomington, and they'll get Sweet 16 rings. And hang a banner.

You think they're waiting to get back to Bloomington to cut down nets? You've gotta be crazy. Bet Crean and company has the scissors out in DC right now.

at least they lost in the Sweet 16 to Syracuse, not in the first round of the NIT to a team whose home gym is smaller than Calapari's garage

Nice to see Indiana still occupies a massive amount of space in the collective domes of Big Blue Nation. I bet rent is pretty cheap.

And your team lost in the first round of the NIT to a garbage team on your HOME FLOOR, so no room to speak, ace.
