Plus let us not forget this is a young team, they need some time to gel. If Cal had all his guys back he'd be more likely to schedule the Spurs and Lakers at home...but he doesn't and he wants to maintain seed integrity for the tournament (the only thing that matters anyway).
Not for nothing but if you look at the teams theyre playing at home theyre not RPI killers, theyre teams expected to win weaker conferences, not like a Mississippi Valley State or something.
If his concern is having a young team, I'd think he'd rather play a heavyweight at home than at a neutral site.
And, it definitely helps to play those small-conference winners instead of MVSU, for example. It's still a cupcake, just with a little better taste to it, and it can even help the RPI a little.
