The funny thing is that when I heard Obama's speech last night, I actually told my wife "If I hear him say 'I' one more time, I'm going to start thinking Rush Limbaugh wrote this speech".

Makes sense to me. We would have failed miserably if Obama were not the CIC leading this initiative.

"You see the military wanted to go in there and bomb, like they always do…But President Obama, perhaps the only qualified member in the room to deal with this, insisted on the special forces," he explained.

He did pat himself on the back a little more than I would like, but he's a politician so it's no surprise. But he also paid everybody else their dues as well.

Do you buy that quote in the least? I found some new respect for Obama for this decision, but I don't buy for a second that he was the lone voice for preservation of evidence here.

Exactly. He and the administration have been heaping tons of praise on the intelligence workers and of course the SEALs. Not fair to say he took all the credit.

I've been tracking LGs posts and I think I've figured out his cycle...

He's emotional now but it will pass. Expect a similar post in about 4 weeks.

I would be willing to bet that the speech had at least five times the number of we, our, and they's than the number of I, me, and my's, though.
