CCM is 3-0 vs Billy D, which IMO is the best coach in the SEC. Let that sink in you clowns that wanted him fired. Please eat some crow this morning for breakfast

a big win and your first instinct is to call others out. Learn to enjoy the wins and leave others to their misery

I would say most people who watched UT play earlier in the season questioned Martin's coaching at one point or another

I thought he did a good job last night other than a few things. Rotating stokes with young was a great move. I thought the 5 guard lineup at one point was pretty good too.

he's definitely made some adjustments and has the team playing very well. I think a lot of it comes from learning the strengths of his players and putting them in position

My point was more around having Kevin O'Neill at UT flashbacks during some of the games this season. There was some ugly basketball being played and questioning the coaching was only natural

I sort-of did a double take first time he set that 5 guard up ha.

Also, I'm impressed with how Yemi rebounded coming in like that. He can't shoot, but he rebounded well ha.

Honest question here...I wonder how D-Bag Stallings and Billy D like being owned by a coach that is only in his 2nd year in the league. 6-1 vs them :)

Best win in the Martin era for sure,

This was a great win, but let's not forget that last year we went into Gainesville and beat a Florida team on the road who was also ranked 8. Don't get me wrong; I agree that this was indeed the best win in the Martin era so far given the circumstances, but to say "for sure" implies that this win was leaps and bounds above all others, which, in my opinion, is not true given what happened last season.

Yemi offers good D and rebounding. Great energy. I like watching him play

No doubt. I'd love to have that Ole Miss SECT game back.

Thanks man.

For those who want instant results, basketball and football, and believe firing the coach at the first sign of trouble is a good strategy, please keep this turnaround in mind. It's going to be a good deal of 'ups and downs' in the next few years. Will some scream for joy one moment and grab their pitch forks the next?

It's just human nature.
Get used to it.
And pray it's not another too little too late finish or the trolls will return.

I was never a Cuonzo hater, but I was pretty much on the fence and hadn't bought in, but after last night, anyone can see that he's doing an superb job at this point and is really getting alot out of his team. Still want to see them keep their momentum and I think he needs to make the tournament before we can really determine that Cuonzo is the right guy for us, but you have to love how his team has improved late in the season like this. That's almost always a mark of good coaching.
