What are some memorable streaks, both good and bad, that come to mind in Vol football history?

Didn't the Vols run off 9 wins over Georgia over a 12 year period? Before the split the two didn't meet every year.......

Two losses in a row to Candy....Memorable for the wrong reasons. It will be snapped this year though

We once had a good streak against Vandy & Kentucky but Fulmer ended the streak with Vandy and Dooley ended the streak with Kentucky.

We now have a long losing streak against "O Bama" Since Shula left, we haven't won. Last "O Bama" game that I remember us winning was in 2004. We lost in 2005 by a score of 9 - 6 on a fumble by Corey Anderson in the end zone.

We beat bama in 2006

I heard a radio interview with Dillon Bates who said he has 2 brothers who played college football. One at Arkansas State the other at Northwestern, iirc.

Looks like the best 2 of the 4 are VFLs.

Hope we get another McKenzie in a couple of years.

It was Drools fault that ended both Kentucky and Vandy winning streaks.

Impressive recruiting streaks. And we're actually 4 for 4 with the Berrys (James, Eric, Evan, Elliott) and 3 for 3 with the McKenzies (Reggie, Raleigh, Kahlil).

26 straight over Ky & 22 straight over Vandy at the same time. We beat them both EVERY year from 1985-2004.
7 straight vs ala. (No one else has done that, unless Auburn got theirs to 7 in the 2000s.)
NEVER losing over 7 games in any one season
Never having back to back losing seasons for 100 years (1909-2010 I believe)
Highest football attendance in the SEC every year from 1974-2012
ONLY school to EVER rank in the Top 5 in attendance for FB, BB & WBB in the same year (UT has done it around 10 times)

The streak against USCjr was nice (1993-2005)

Edit - Thanks for the correction. That 1992 missed 2 point conversion was brutal!

Whoops! Good catch. Crazy enough, I was actually remembering James and not thinking about Eric. Here's my Vol Fan Card for the day for leaving out a legend like that :)
