Look For Further Attrition

The reason I've opposed emotionally charged moves against Fulmer is that UT faces higher risks in replacing the HC than other programs of their level. If the guy comes in and does not succeed on the field, he will not be able to credibly raid other states for players and Tennessee does not produce the talent to win the SEC.

No matter how "exciting" a new coach or system is... he has to step in and win even faster than Saban has or else opposing coaches will have a very good argument with recruits that the guy won't survive.

It's worth the risk IMO. UT can afford to get a top notch coach. Do they go after a proven coach or an up an comer?

I was at Florida field 30 years ago when they booed John Reeves the Florida QB. I was at
Tennesse when the fans booed Bill Battle's teams. This is nothing new. It happens when a team or player is not playing to expectations on any team you want to mention.

Why go back 30 years? All you have to do is go back to this past Saturday to hear Auburn fans boooo Todd...
