Yes and they lost there floor leader and second best scorer two weeks ago to an ACL Tear. They are clearly not the same team without him. That is the equivalent of losing Chism for the season a week before the SEC tourney.

"regardless of the situation."<--- Pretty sure you said that. so... 30 point loss should have dropped them down to a lower seed than a 4 right? or does it not go for Purdue?

The size of our last game defeat to Kentucky is meaningless. Never has this committee nor any other one said point spread affects their decisions and it should not. It is a zero factor in RPI. There is no logical rationale for the committee's shafting of Tennessee nor for a bunch of their other dumb decisions like placing a host of the strongest teams in the region w Kansas. I believe B Knight pointed out the committee does not have much of a BB background, which looks obvious now.
