I say that pretty much all your stats are wrong, but you are right that UT should win. How can UT be 147th and Mizzou 182nd in Points Allowed when there are only about 130 teams in FBS? Has your source just combined FBS, FCS, D-II and High School football all together? For example, in FBS (which is what matters) we are 21st in Points Allowed per game and Mizzou is 52nd, not 147th and 182nd, respectively.

In my opinion, it will be a close game. I think UT's defense will hold enough to keep Missouri at bay and allow the good guys a chance to win by 7.

Numbers are only good ... if the schedule is comparable .... so really hard to tell ... we do have two overlap games ...
At Kentucky
Missouri 38-21
TN 33-27

South Carolina
SCeast at Missouri - Missouri 34-12
SCeast at TN - TN 41-20

Those scores suggest a close game ...
Missouri at home and desperate ... advantage MZ
TN fighting for respectability on the road ... neutral
TN has smoked the MZ defense the past 2 years ... maybe TN has their number ... advantage TN
MZ just played GA and got beat up pretty good ... advantage TN
Flags fly when we play football ... advantage MZ

Pigskin prognosis: TN 45-38

We’ve had trouble scoring TD’s in the red zone against SEC opponents this year. If we are able to score TD’s, and not settle for FG’s or failed 4th down conversions, I think we’ll win easily.

Cook was very very good at reading the blitz and throwing to the open receiver during the UGA game. Need to keep him at around 2 seconds to pass if possible. Anything longer than that and he will find someone open and it likely will be big yardage plays. I think he will be pretty hard on himself to not throw picks like he did against Georgia (the one straight to the DL changed the game). Which might mean he holds on to it just a tad too long and Pearce/Baron get home. I'm really interested to see how Tim Banks will dial it up for this game.

Comparing games/scores is fun but every game takes on its own identity. The weather , the different officials, injured players not playing. Getting untimely penalties like the fair catch vs Bama, that basically was a turnover something like that can change the whole game like it took over the 2nd half vs Bama. They had scored and instead of us starting at 25 we are on the 4 yard line , 3 plays up middle/punt and all of sudden a 20 to 7 lead is 20 to 17 in a snap of fingers. Every game takes on its own identity and sometimes every half takes on its own its own identity.
I mean, I could have ran the numbers for the first half of the Bama game and stated, per the stats I'm looking at, it looks like UT will end up somewhere around the upper 30s and Bama somewhere around 14 to 20.
