I think they ended last year as Mizz 5th in their division and Auburn was last in their division. Auburn was smart. Hired a good coach to do the turnaround.

Your trying to hard sly. You understand that auburn coach was there OC 2 years ago rite and he was there when they won the national title.

Think of it this way sly what if fulmer was fired after the 2000 year and cutcliff was hired . Its the same thing

Damn, 114, all I said was that Auburn hired a good coach to turn things around. :hi:

We'll never know now, will we? Impossible to tell.

Come on man! You've been very opinionated to this point.
Answer the question.

The problem is your adgenda.
if you say yes but then everyone will think you're nutz. But if you say no then you have to admit there is a talent problem.

Well, which is it?

No one liked your post. I did it to throw you off guard. Why does it bother you so that someone has a different opinion?

It doesn't.
I'm just pointing out that you are unwilling to admitt that anything positive has happened or that there is even the remote possibility that Coach Jones will be a success. It makes you seem unreasonable. The positive guys do it too but right now we are talking about you.
I can list 20 negative things from this year. I can also list 20 positives.

Can you list 5 positive things that give you hope for the future?

Many thought both Missouri and Auburn were winnable games. Now those teams have punched their ticket to Atlanta.

Does anyone remember where each of those teams were picked by the media to finish in their respective divisions?

According to a piece on ESPN's SEC blog this morning, Missouri was picked to finish 6th in the East division while Auburn was picked to finish 5th in the West division.

Neither was given a vote to win the conference either.

That's what makes the SEC so fun to watch.

Those who argue that the SEC is top heavy but below average at the bottom hate years like this.

The SEC east was on a kind of down year. Georgia and Florida were racked with injuries. Without those injuries both teams would have beaten Missouri and Georgia would be playing for the SEC title. Mizzou just happened upon the perfect storm in the east this year.
