Looking like KJH is the play

You want a list?

Karen Aston
Kevin McGuff
Matthew Mitchell
Joanne P. McCallie
Matt Insell

Those are just off the top of my head.

Let's not get carried away. Holly sucks the air out of the building when it comes to coaching in most aspects of the game (motivating players, calling timeouts, X's and O's, making adjustments) but there are definitely head coaches that are worse than she is.
Lmao. Insell is the only coach you named that is worse than HW.

Not MATT Insell his dad is Rick

Yeah I'm perfectly aware of who Matt is and who his dad is.

Matt is a pretty decent X's and O's coach. The rest on that list suck as bad as Holly if not worse in that regard. Hence the list.

Anyone who thinks Holly is a worse coach than McCallie, Aston or McGuff needs to put down the crackpipe. All four of them should have multiple FFs on their resume given the rosters they have had. At least McCallie can say she's gotten to one, no matter how long ago it was, while the other three can't say that.

"a historic program in turmoil.." . fyp

Our football program was/is in turmoil. The Lady Vols need tweaks to be competative again. With the right leadership, it can happen fairly quickly.

Oh you meant Matt I just thought his record was terrible and as good as an X and O coach he was he never really had success. But the crazy thing is I think he would deserve another chance sometime. Just because it didn’t work the first time doesn’t mean you don’t grow and learn.

I think he's someone that does better as an assistant. He's super highly strung out and I don't think he will do well as a HC. Maybe at a small school.

How in the world would you know that he is "super highly strung out" you make it sounds like he's a crack head. He's high energy but players love that.

Edit: Wrong Matt sorry, I thought you meant Campbell but you're talking about Insell. I agree that he's a hot mess.

So is everyone on that list ...
And all less horrible than HW.

All have more success with than Holly who had more talent than all of them. Holly should have had multiple NCs.

Insell is the worst one. What are you talking about? How do you think the only in with a losing record is the good coach, but the ones who have won 60-80% with deep tourney runs are worse than Holly?

I bet you probably thought Holly was a good coach too.

Texas and OSU were no more successful under Aston and McGuff, respectively, than UT was with Holly. All three of them underachieved given their talent levels. They could all get players to come play for them (somehow) and couldn't do a damn thing with them. Clearly you don't understand how talented Texas and OSU have been the past few years. They actually had more talented rosters than UT. That you actually think Holly had more talent is ridiculous and shows how little you know about them. Regardless, they all had rosters that were right up there with UConn in terms of talent, but none of the three were ever serious contenders for a FF.

OSU finished this season with a below .500 record.

Holly had a literal team of All Americans. Only UCONN has been as much or more talented. None of those schools have our history either.

They all did better with their talent than Holly. Except the one guy you said was good. Lmao.

Went right over your head didn't it?
Do I need to draw you a picture in Crayon so it'll help alleviate your ignorance on this? Nothing you say will change the facts of anything so accept it. You are however free to believe anything you want so have at it., I'm sick of discussing the matter with people who don't have a clue what they are talking about.
Ok, Alabama fan

Great post, though mucking around with my darkest moments of being not just bitten, but chewed up and spit out by reality.

Maybe we are being as delusional as Holly when we insist the LV job is the be all and end of all for every college coach, especially the superstars. Maybe this deep well of "talent" on the roster just waiting to bust into the final four is just what we've seen on the court - under developed potential who frequently make us want to poke our eyes out.

So if the best we can do is an up and comer from a mid major, why not one who comes relatively cheap and has mega bonus points for the hardcores of being female and a daughter of the legacy? This of course is not only the worse case hiring scenario fear of many, its incredibly disappointing after having the prospect of a star hire tantalizingly dangled.

It also puts KJH behind an unfortunate eightball of fear and resentment from the rest of the fanbase who is ready to move on. The last thing I want is for KJH's legacy to go the way of HW's, and I'm not even sure her leash would be that much shorter. I sure hope a gamble on her, or a forced settling for her, would work out, and I'd certainly support her until given reason not to. But man would this be a scary gamble. Excuse me while I search for the Xanex.

Look, we could do better but with so many pay out to fired coaches, we have little $$$ for a rainy day
Bama has millions in reserve but of course they have not fired a football staff in 13 years
If we had $$$. We could have gotten Waltz

KJH has career 58% winning percentage with 4 trips to the NCAA tournament in 15 years, was put out in 1st rd in 3 of those and went to Sweet 16 this year. She cannot be the leading candidate can she?

If money is an issue, then YES she can be the leading candidate
