FAU Coaching Search: Kiffin talks breakdown | fauowlaccess.com

LSU may be the only option for Lane Kiffin. As usual he wants any contract stacked in his favor so he can run out the door at any moment for another job. Only remaining option may be to reunite with Ed at LSU as offensive coordinator which is a good opportunity.

Can't blame any athletic department for extreme caution. His previous coaching stops:

Raiders - Al Davis - deceased.
Vols - Mike Hamilton - ended athletic career
Trojans - Pat Haden - retired, eased out

Orgeron can extend him a lifeline but Kiffin remains damaged goods as far as head coach potential. Fired on the tarmac from his dream job remains the most outlandish firing of a coach in recent memory.

I still think he gets one more shot at it but damn this is telling if you can't get Florida Atlantic to buy what your selling.

I don't feel bad for LSU at all if they choose this route. We will see them in November, most likely with the east on the line.

Go Vols!

Beat Nebraska!

Ironic that no one wants to take a chance on him as a Head Coach. Sometimes one reaps what they sow.

Geeez, wonder why? It's not like his HC track record is outstanding. It's amazing how some of our fans bring him out to be like he's some God of football that will solve everything. It's laughable and embarrassing.

Some just want to win regardless of the consequences.

will you at least admit there's not a better one currently on staff at UTK?

You won't see me respect this program again if he was hired back. That's all I'm going to say. I rather take a chance of getting a proven HC than some jack ass who disrespects our program every chance he gets. I'd laugh if our administration did such a thing.

The key is to continue to build and get better. #120 improved in some areas and then took a step back in others. #121 has a chance to put it all together and give us what we want.

Beat Nebraska!

I just don't see it.
They have talent but inexperience will hurt nxt season

If the spot came open id want them to get Miles until some of these new guys proved themselves a little more.

It's there a reason he can't just stay at bama?
