Agreed, if I have the background I would seek out a job in the NFL. AKA, Dooley.
It seems once you're in the league even when you get fired these guys move to another club. HC especially.

No drama with the mama's either, unless that's something you enjoy. :hi:

Triple HHH is great at taking inexperienced wrestlers and keeping NXT a very exciting brand. I have no worries about NXT being hurt.

OK has anyone heard anything that indicates his job is at risk? Statistically their offense this year is in the top three for the program historically. He coached a true freshman QB to Heisman consideration and scored on everyone. I don't see him getting fired.

Two articles I read this week were one about satan yelling constantly at lame during practice. He may be butt hurt. The other story was where a big gawg at Houston said lame was a hot potato and no sane AD would touch him.

I believe his contract is up with Bama and Saban has Sark waiting in the wings. They all thought he could get an HC job by now and if FAU passed on him, 2017 does not look good. Hilarious the way it is playing out as Lane thought he had redeemed himself with the Bama stint but no sane athletic department will turn over a program to the permanent brat. Kiffin is an entitled punk that really threw UT and Mike Hamilton under the bus when he was given an unbelievable opportunity in the SEC. The schools are apparently asking for compensation if Kiffin wishes to flee without completing his contract and of course the brat wants everything stacked his way. Really funny that Houston and FAU both kicked him and his agent to the curb. Heard from a Bama booster that Saban wanted to part ways with Lane - guess it just is time.

Would be huge for LSU. The offense is the issue there. Kiffin at LSU with that defense is like a Bama 2.0

Not that I am aware of. There's been nothing credible reported or leaked that indicates Saban wouldn't give him another 1-year contract if he doesn't land a HC gig this winter. After next season there could be some HC openings at schools that might want to hire him. Cal, for example.

Insofar as performance from talent, Jones has never done as bad as Lane at head coach. Jones worst season was 2 games below expectations, I believe Kiffs average was 3 games below expectations.

I remember him running the same play on the goal line against UCLA with the game on the line And got stuffed all 4 times to lose the game.
