We have got a great foundation set, the rest will come when the class is full we should be around 15th.

Some of you clinging to the accuracy of Rivals need to realize that once they finally get the fact that Kenbrell Thompkins isn't coming to UT it's going to drop us pretty quick on their list too.

Agree with most of what you said, but I'm hoping for high teens or 20th. DD is looking at a couple of new guys which are 4* on rivals, that will help if we land them. Honestly, I won't be quite as worried about our ranking if we sign 6 solid O-linemen.

I see this class morphing from a home run class to a needs class. The glaring need is big uglies and a good QB, and we're still in good shape there. Real good shape if the current commits hold and we add Chaz Green and Cullen.

I agree we need to sign some linemen, and then a LB or two to replace those that left us. Think Bray will be fine at QB as long as we have guys to protect him.

btw, Scout has us at #26 (just outside the top 25), good enough for 6th in SEC. If/when we sign 10 more quality guys, we can still break the top 10 (most their classes look to be full)

Yep, one reason we are currently low is quantity. We will address that... hopefully with quality bodies.

Just focus on OL at this point. I don't care who the running back is, if we have a great line.

Rivals has us at 13. I always go with rivals over espn or scout. Scout seems to emotional over their number system. Last I checked Bray is a 3 star on scout. Seriously? Bray a 3 star? I believe we will finish top 10 in rivals ... and that's what matters to me.

Also rivals has us losing ambles and keeping thompkins. It also has Dlevin Jones gone. I don't know thew situation with Thompkins, and it appears nobody really does, but even if we lose him and we get Jones and Ambles back we're top 10. That doesn't include any recruits we might pick up from Tech or elsewhere between now and then. We're gonna be fine. We're at 13 now on Rivals and this is as low as we go because the others are already enrolled or have stated they're all vol. Just Dooley It!

part of that drop was they finally took off Dixon - whom they have as a 5 star

also did we have some more DBs earlier? I'm not sure if we have any now

If Ahmad isn't actually enrolled in Baylor yet look for him to switch back to us again, then to someone, then to Baylor and then on NSD we'll actually see. That guy can NOT make up his mind. Baylor over TN? Wow, that's like leaving the really pretty girl who's parents just got divorced to go be with the butt-ugly girl that nobody knows anything about because nobody cares.

Rivals has UT at 13 because they still haven't removed Thompkins... once he's removed, UT will rank around #20. Tennessee Commit List for 2010

ESPN still has UT in the Top 10 because they haven't updated their team rankings since December 22nd. College Football Class Rankings 2010 - ESPN

Losing Ambles might not be such a bad thing if you replace him with Hunter, who just decommitted from LSU, and is considering UT. He's probably every bit the WR that Ambles is, plus he probably doesn't come with nearly as much character baggage.
