I don't remember which game it was, but I do remember Rucker and others reporting a huge shouting match between Shoop and Botch after a loss last year. So glad that guy is gone. I think CJP will be a good one, but changing attitudes and player talent doesn't happen in one spring practice or even one season.

He liked you or he didn't. He played those he liked. If it was still up to Botch Bituli never would have played. Injuries forced him to let Shoop play Bituli.

Let's not forget that a lot of Shoop's struggles resulted from player injuries, which seemed to stem from Butch's practice system and S&C program. Moreover, Butch's poor game management (going HUNH after the defense has been on the field for a long time) also pretty much left Shoop's defenses constantly tired in the 2nd Half.

Does not shock me at all that Shoop looks much better with a head coach that actually understands things like development and game strategy.

Saban threw him a bone to continue to screw over UT. We have to pay his salary minus whatever his new job pays. So by Saban giving him a job that only pays like $30,000 a year UT will still be on the hook for the majority of his buyout. Compare that to if Butch had gotten a normal position coach job that would have paid over $150,000

That's right, that's why Jumper played instead of Bituli not that I don't appreciate how hard Jumper played because I do, but Bituli is 10x better. Also the case with Dormady

I honestly dont believe that Miss st has overall better players than us. They may at certain positions.

I believe they have been better developed though.

Johhny majors stated it's about the Jimmy's and the Joe's. Well, that's true with coaching staffs being pretty equal. But, it's my opinion after having to suffer through the past 2 coaching staffs that coaching especially the head coach is critical to success.

My case and point is Appalachian st. Look how they perform against superior talent. They are super disciplined well coached players. They play up a level because of this.

After watching the 30 min replay from Feak of last weeks game. I actually feel a little better about where we will be when we play Florida.

If you watch the tape we look extremely slow. But, I believe were playing slow because were thinking to much. At every position. I believe when our players get more comfortable with Pruitt's schemes then things will start coming around. I'm not saying we will compete with Georgia, but I think we can with Florida.

When our players start playing instinctively and get out of their own heads then they will perform better.

Ok, so I was wrong. After watching this mess of a ballgame, it's a mix between Butch being a megalomaniac and these players being lazy, entitled, mellinial children with zero pride.
