Thanks to BleedingTNOrange for pointing me to Joey Brackets(Lunardi's) latest. Having Tennessee at an eleven seed and Arkansas still in a play in game for an 11 seed seems to me that Tennessee would do no worse than move into a play in game if they lost the quarterfinal. Do you all agree with that assessment?

Believe nothing that is predicted. Jerry Palm has not been as high on UT getting in. So, instead of believing in people's predictions, believe winning produces tourney spots. Win the next game. Then win the next game. Remove doubts by winning. Leave wishing and hoping to others.

Win or lose tomorrow there's a 50% chance of us being in the dance. Either we make it or we don't.

Interesting observation. Iowa has the same record as Tennessee. They had a 9-9 conference record and finished sixth in the Big 10. Tennessee was 11-7 conference and finished fourth. Yet Iowa is easily in the field with an 8 seed. Evidently the Big 10 rules basketball the way the SEC rules football.

Do you realize our 3rd place team is Georgia?

Unfortunately, historically we leave our balls at home when we pack for the trip to the sec tourney.

Hope springs eternal and all that, but 30+ years of frustration means I've got tee times mid-day Sat and Sun.

Iowa also has wins over @ Ohio State, Iowa State, and Michigan.

Better conference top to bottom.

I saw a mock 2014 NCAA tourney bracket and it had us in the tourney as a 12th seed. We play U Conn 1st and once past U Conn, we will likely play T.O.S.U. (The Ohio State University)

Just a mock bracket, so lets not get excited but it does give us a little info on what seed we might be placed in.

Florida or Mizzou/TAMU

So, likely Florida
I don't think Florida can beat Tennessee 3 times in a row! The seniors on both teams have been playing each other for four years. I think it is a matter of pride for the Vols! They will be up for this game like no other if they get to the semifinals!

Ask this question again in about 12-14 hours. There are a lot of bubble teams that play today, that with a loss you could scratch them off the list, much like Georgetown last night.

If they all, or most of them lose, we are likely in win or lose against Arkansas. Now if South Carolina beats Arkansas, we have to win that game, losing would be bad.

It's almost like CCM has learned some things about coaching the past 6 weeks....his game has certainly improved.
