Looney announcement OVERTIME predictions

He has already stated that he will be a one and done wherever he goes. Of course, that would depend on how truly good he really is, but that is his mindset right now. I've read that FL has gotten in the mix really heavy the last few days, but my pick is Tennessee because he would likely stand out more here than at Duke, FL, etc.

No, his math is solid. 50/50.

We either get him (50%) or we don't (50%).

Either math is still flawed. We should use Dobbs math. Add light years diameter of Thompson Boling Arena and our 50% becomes Looney committed 3 days ago to Ridgedale Elementary school. Im sure he will be an instant contributer.

BREAKING: Looney declares

---------------------------------

Major, major pickup for UCLA men's basketball on Thursday as FOX Sports and Scout five-star Kevon Looney declared his intentions to be a Bruin.

Looney plays at Hamilton (Wis.) High School and is rated the No. 2 power forward in the 2014 class. He is expected to sign his National Letter of Intent in November.

Milwaukee to East Lansing: 4h47m

to Durham: 13h25m

to Knoxville: 9h20m

to LA: 29 hours (psh)

Looney is on record as saying DISTANCE TO A SCHOOL of his choice is paramount.

I don't see how you can make the argument that Tennessee has the leg up when you look at his most prioritized factor (closeness to Milwaukee*) and the Fighting Izzos geographic situation.

Sure, it's dumb luck. Sure, it's the same old story for some UT recruits. Just think we miss and MSU hits.

* - I realize the closeness of Madison. From everything I have read, I have no reason to believe Wisconsin is seriously involved. I'm considering the travel distance to finalists.

Guess he is bad at math and geography and good at basketball...
