Lots of Talk Going On

I'm not sure, but he may be talking about Victor Hampton. Read this

"Its official, Victor Hampton is no longer committed to the University of Florida. Hampton told InsideTennessee.com Sunday afternoon that he was currently uncommitted to anyone at this point. Hampton took an unofficial visit to Rocky Top Saturday for the Vol's game with UCLA."

Now Tennessee is listed as "High interest" on his list.

Scout.com: Victor Hampton Profile

I dont think Hampton is going to be a take. They are filling up too quickly and I understand they feel very good about getting another CB commit soon.

Good thing about Willis is that he can be like Bohannon and play DE or DT.
Except for the fact that Willis is already 260 pounds and Bohannon is 235 pounds tops. You are right though, Willis probably will play that role, but he will be able to do it better than Bohannon due to his size.

I don't really know which CB may commit at this point but I would definitely like to get Riley for a Safety spot.

That your ceaselessly intentional and nonsensical teases would become overly-annoying.

They have, although some obviously can't quite seem to ignore them yet.

You're like a less forthright version of a carnival barker. Or, a woman.

I, for one, appreciate Matt's self-control in not posting something specific until he has corroboration. Matt is different than the normal VN poster in that reporting for VN is his job. Accuracy in what he reports only shows his professionalism.

Sure, Matt could jump out there and report exact details of the rumors he hears. And if those rumors were to fall through, he would be lambasted by most everyone on here. Matt is being safe rather than sorry...while still giving this board some flicker of hope that something positive may be coming. Granted, it does create a stir in the number of posts on the site. Take the prior teaser on Phillip Sims. This board exploded. Turned out the information was unsubstantiated. Matt suffered a little indignation for posting the teaser, but kept his credibility by not posting anything non-factual.

Or maybe you would prefer Matt to jump the gun and report the rumors prior to confirmation. After all, in the media, isn't being the first to report a story more important than getting the story accurate? Just ask the Coast Guard about CNN's reporting tactics. (CNN Under Fire)

reporting vs throwing out leading tidbits of nothing. Those aren't the same thing. The tidbits of nothing can wait until they are tidbits of something.

You act as if threads of this nature have to be started.

Riley has never been on Tennessee's campus. I dont see him committing until then. However, you have to like where Tennessee is with him. They are in very good shape.

I think he was referring to the three that committed last night.

He is also at a huge position need so I'm sure we'll put the full court press on him soon if we haven't already and land him
