Just made his 2014 "bold prediction" on ESPN. Said no SEC team would be selected for the 4 team playoff next year. Huh?

Side note..... he didn't say who the other 3 teams would be besides Notre Dame.

Would be an interesting way to shift power back across the country. Kids start seeing that no SEC teams are playing for titles and opt to go to non SEC schools. I never understood why the NCAA just didn't keep the BCS computer formula in place. Other than the 2004 season, I can't think of a year it didn't work out the way it was suppose to every year.

Did he honestly predict that Notre Dame would be in the 4 game playoff next year?

Poor Lou.
He just hates SEC because when he says SEC microphones run and hide.
He is prob right though.
History tells us when the Vols are on an upswing, it pushes the rest of the SEC down.
UT and Bama are still the only 2 schools that can move the entire SEC by how well they are doing. We maintain the balance, and the SEC has been unbalanced for about 5 years now. Every other conference should be UT fans, because of that balance.

Lou make me want to facepalm in the worst way possible.

Just the other day after Notre Dame's game he was talking about them like they were the best team in the nation. He also said Notre Dame's job is as big as Texas's lol

Granny has never liked the SEC because we always beat his but. He has been a ND homer even when he coached at other schools. He is a disgrace and should have retired a number of years ago. Of all the bad employees at ESPN, he is the worst.

He's predicted ND to win several national championships. He's about the worst thing espn offers. I know there are a lot of bad ones there, but he's basically a comedy pyramid at this point, and he means it all seriously.

Lou is the greatest and smartest football coach of all time at any level according to Lou. That's why he calls himself Dr. Lou. He does believe that Notre Dame is always the best team in college football even if they lose 5 or 6 games. The most interesting fact about Lou is that after he left college coaching jobs the schools always seemed to be in some kind of trouble, recruiting or something, but he never got into much trouble.

Money! Can't stand that smart arse sack of crap. The fact that he got a job back at ESPN after his behavior and bridge burning at ESPN, MSNBC and Al freakin Gore's little pi$$ ant station just tells us what a pathetic "fraternity" the media really is. What more could that tool have done to make himself toxic and undeserving of yet another chance? Unbelievable.

The one thing that I realize the older that I get is that the talking heads of ESPN don't know what they are talking about and it's not worth the time of day to listen to them. ESPN needs to clean house, there are way to many non-credible expert analysts there.

Saw the title and thought, the 106 yr old SOB Lou Holtz finally croaked, but with this prediction looks like he's getting closer to brain dead.

Lot of people take it too seriously. I think it is funny he is so bias for his former teams. I can about predict what he is going to say. I love when Mark May jabs at him. The show is humorous that is what ESPN is good at. I wished Corso was still part of show though.
