Here
-We just beat the Gators for the 2nd time in 3 years
-CHJ has never lost to FL at home
-We have a top 5 defense that is entertaining as hell to watch
-We remain a top 10 team
-We control our own SEC and playoff destiny
-We are very much a part of the national conversation

Be thankful
Bad coaching always brings out the spin doctors.

I’ll tell you something else too-
We are watching a RS freshman growing up and learning on the job. And are still in total control of our own destiny in the process. I remember when young Manning was learning on the job (and throwing picks to Florida twice at the goal line) that wasn’t the case. And that’s no slam on 16, just some context.
This is an amazing spot to be in.

And, we finally have a coach that appears to know how to bring a young QB along and not let him do more than he can handle at the moment. I know people were booing at some of the 3rd down handoffs, but Nico wasn’t comfortable. That will come. AND Nico is realizing he can run- and his decision making in that regard was MUCH better tonight- especially late.
I truly think he will grow into —and win- a Heisman trophy one day soon.

Life is good.

Bring me some damn Bama baby.

hard to be excited.

Nah man. Be excited. 4 years ago we would be jumping for joy over being 5-1 coming off a win against Florida. Things need to improve on the offensive end, but we need to face it that we are a run heavy/good defense grind it out style team. It’s not the flashy 2022 offense, but as long as win it’s all good.

The SEC has become, I don't know, maybe the Pac 12? A conference where anyone on any given Saturday can beat a conference foe with a barbed wire billy club. UK beat Ole Miss. Vanderbilt beat UK. UK had Ga. beat until their coach went Stoopid. Vanderbilt beat Bam. USCe had Bama beat, but used a flint-lock blunderbuss instead of a Springfield Lever-Action Rifle. Maybe the SEC has reached parity or something like it.

our defense is the reason I still have slight hope we can still have a good season. They have to eventually figure something out on offense, it doesn’t have to elite, just be better than terrible please
Crazy, right? A little creativity in playcalling would go a long ways.

What I hate is, how everyone on our schedule is beatable this year. We finally have a defense and the schedule is setup damn near perfect for once. We have talent on paper, yet we're seeing one of Heups worst offenses of his career.

So frustrating.

The defense is absolutely the only thing to be excited about. Coaching is lacking. Offense nonexistent. Gonna be a few long weeks ahead of us.
Coaching is always to blame.

Don’t get me wrong we’ve had some head scratching play calls at times BUT with this particular team you have a limited QB and a limited Oline. Our first scripted series where Nico fumbled would have likely put points on the board.

Win ugly but just win. Bama up next.

Nico played like garbage but I do have some hope because the tempo was back and the explosive plays were there he just missed them. He is still very young learning the speed of the college game and what throws he can get away with and what he can't. If he can put it all together and get in a rhythm the offense can get back in track. We are watching a young QB go through growing pains. I'm not throwing in the towel on Nico like some.

It’s what fans do. We come here to chat with other fans/friends. Everyone has an opinion and this site is a great place to cheer, vent, protest, congratulate, reminisce.
I was making a comment about this particular thread. First post was positive and then immediately someone poops on it. Plenty of other threads to complain in

Then do us all a favor, find something else to do on game days the rest of the season. It will do your psyche good AND save us from reading this drivel every week.

Question, how many points does it take to win a game? Answer,
W(gg) = (P(gg) >= P(bg)+1)

This is spot on. Let's hope Nico figures it out

Like Cal winning at Auburn, Miami blowing out Florida, Georgia State beat Vandy, USC beat LSU, Notre Dame beating SEC leader Texas A&M, Oklahoma State beating Arkansas, or Toledo blowing out Mississippi State...

Wait, none of those are SEC teams. SEC looks mediocre to me.
