Aside from Al Wilson and maybe Palmer, his list kind of blows. Looks like he is just trying to be different for the sake of being different. Its like a B list of superstars. Most of those guys had better pro careers than college careers

Exactly , to put it in perspective of how good he really was ... Reggie White had 32 career sacks and his single season high was 15, Derrick Thomas career sacks was 52 with 27 as his season high . Both were NCAA records and the single season still stands . Not sure about the career record.
I seem to remember Al Wilson as being an accomplished boxer, golden gloves contender maybe. Pretty good to augment the leadership with the implied threat of beating the stuffing out of you if you didn't give 100%
