We played an incredibly physical game today in all 3 phases - I was genuinely impressed. After a tough outing against FL, our Defense look like they were out for blood - it was refreshing.

And after years of having poor coaching - i cannot describe the feeling to see our TN coaching staff come into a game with a great game plan and continually make the right adjustments as the game goes on. LSU got out-manned today and out coached. Proud to be a VOL today. Might need to order me a smoky gray jersey.

I guess the 98 team wasn’t a top 5 team. Nah put those goalposts right next to the Florida game ones from 98.

I hope Kelly coaches LSU for a long time. They deserve each other.

LSU was out matched. They were out coaches and out played. The week off was timed perfectly. As fans we were able to celebrate the Florida win longer and the team was able to use the time off to dig into the game plan for LSU.

I’ve often wondered when a team starts implementing adjustments for the next opponent with a week off.

Film study is a defense’s best friend when preparing for a game. We we running down hill vs LSU and were consistently running the right defensive play to shut them down.

I expect Alabama to get creative with their offense and defense. They will be going for it on 4th by the 2nd qtr.

One step at a time. We beat bama and that represents a turning of another corner with this team and with the SEC as a whole. That goalpost will deserve to be in the river with the 98 Florida one.

When you've been irrelevant forever, break a 15 year losing streak, and beat the team with the greatest run in CFB history.....you can bet the goalposts are coming down. I'll enjoy watching it if it does.
