This is the game that likely decides the SEC and possibly the BCS championship.
LSU has Auburn, Alabama has Tennesse and then a week off before this game.
LSU wins this one. Defense is equally good, and offense is more balanced IMO. If anybody can force Bama to throw, it is LSU. I don't believe Bama would be as effective if they had to throw it 30 or 40 times with no running game.

Im kinda in this boat. I think the game comes down to who can throw it. I think LSU has the edge here. Bama's QB is still a ?
Both Ds are good enough that your gonna have to be balanced to move and score. I think LSU throws it better.
As long as Miles doesn't screw up his use of Jefferson they should be ok. I think he is an extra weapon in the run game, but they better be careful letting him throw.
Its a hard call, Bama is at home, LSU throws it better. Im goin with LSU.
Chatting with an lsu fan about this one on Saturday, he said he's tried to break it down every way he could, the uf game, similar opponnents, etc and it comes out squared up every time. Ill say bama just because of home field.
When I look at them, I tend to think bama is just a little better on d and o but just not sure. Posted via VolNation Mobile
I honestly have no idea. I (obviously) want LSU to win, but who can tell. I didn't think LSU would win last year, and true that was in Tiger Stadium, but still. I didn't think we'd be 7-0 at this point either. Both teams are coming off the bye, so both should be very prepared. I think it'll be an awesome game, and I hope we come out on top. Plus, at the end of the day, I will never bet against Les Miles.
Side note: a big thank you to CBS for negotiating with ESPN to move this to 8 Eastern. I have to entertain guests all day and primetime is the only time I'll be in front of a TV after UT beats MTSU.
I think whoever wins, it's going to be a blowout and not the game it's being hyped up to be. I'm taking LSU by 21 because.......I just hate Bama almost as bad as I hate Florida.
I think people get into stats too much but I guess LSU is 30-1 in night games since 2001 away from home. The only away night game lose is Florida in 2008 who then went on to win the SECC and BCSNC.
I think 18-1 against top 25 teams away from home at night, that's pretty insane. Like I said, I don't put faith in stats I still give an edge to Bama.
I think Herbstreit called it the national championship game the other night. And, honestly, who can argue that the winner of this game isn't going to be the BCS champ?
