I hope LSU wins first of all. If Bamer wins is there a split? LSU won at Bamer and Bamer would have beaten them at a neutral site. To me LSU should be crowned National Champs now and if Bamer wins they split title. How can you call Bamer alone National Champs, when LSU beat them at Tuscapoosa?

New Orleans = Neutral Site? ;)

I see what you mean, though. It would create a bit of interest though if Bama won.

You can't be serious....if bammer gets in, and wins, no way should they get sole possession of the title. They had their chance at home and blew it. If bammer gets to go, LSU should be awarded split before game even starts.

????????????????????????????? bamer lost at home to LSU. I also hate that these teams have 1 month before they play football again. Game could be flat again. If this game was next week no way LSU loses. They are ****ing ROLLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once u get to the nc game records are thrown out and winner takes all. Like in every other sport! There are no splits. If lsu is that good and they deserve to be nc's then they will prove it yet again.

Mods can this be moved out of the football forum please.

I think you may be right. The rest of the nation has absolutely no interest in seeing the rematch. The voters and computer guys will massage the numbers accordingly ... IMO.

There will be a ground swell this week for OSU. Just look at ESPN's front page.

There is precedent for the split title in the era of the BCS. 2003 LSU won the BCS and USC was awarded the national title by the writers, I believe.

I agree with this. If Bama beats them, they should be co-national champs. I hope they don't play. They have already played and LSU beat them in their own house. It's done. Bama sat own their couch yesterday while LSU had to go play again. OK State also went out and played and made their case. I hope its LSU and OK St. in the championship. Yeah, LSU will probably spank them, but I would rather see OK St get in there. Bama didn't even win their own conference, or even play for the title, they don't need to be there. A few years ago everyone wanted to see a rematch of the Ohio State - Michigan game because they were supposedly the two best teams in the country. Florida slid in there and blew Ohio St out and won the national championship. So how do you really know who the best team is unless you match them up with someone else. LSU and Bama have already been matched up, Bama lost. Time to give someone else a shot.

This is not a best 2 out of 3.You played at home and lost. Good luck on beating them in the Baton Rouge because you are going to need it
