Once u get to the nc game records are thrown out and winner takes all. Like in every other sport! There are no splits. If lsu is that good and they deserve to be nc's then they will prove it yet again.

If lsu plays and beats this bama team twice in the same year, and neither on their home field, it would be a tremendous feat. You'd have to put the team as one of the best ever, based off of accomplishments alone.

I was for a rematch initially but now I think OkSt should get the nod. While I do think Bama is the better team they only beat 3 teams with an above .500 record (Penn St, Ark &, Auburn). OkSt beat 7 (including OU, Texas, Baylor and Kansas St.).

Now I know the argument is "but its the SEC" and normally I would agree. Bama's East opponents were 5-7 TN, 6-6 Vandy, and 6-6 FL. Some say UGA backed into the SECCG because they played a weak SEC schedule. Well, outside of LSU (loss) and Ark so did Bama.

Again, I think Bama would beat OKSt but its about your season resume and not who looks better on paper. OkSt's resume looks a little better.

I hope LSU wins first of all. If Bamer wins is there a split? LSU won at Bamer and Bamer would have beaten them at a neutral site. To me LSU should be crowned National Champs now and if Bamer wins they split title. How can you call Bamer alone National Champs, when LSU beat them at Tuscapoosa?

I think it's possible, but I also think it's possible for the voters to take a stance of Bama beat LSU the first time on the field but not on the score board.

Yes, the AP does not participate in the BCS title. The AP awards their own title, but there has only been one season since the BCS in which their was a split.

FOr the most part though, the AP title is not recognized any more.

It will be nuetral provided it's a Bama/LSU match up. Bama will bring as many fans as LSU.

Very easily could be a split if Bama wins. AP would most likely crown LSU regardless unless they get blown out which I doubt. But LSU is a different and much better team than when they last played.
