Last week I stated that Duke had a depth problem, and someone on this board tried to say that Duke had a number of players that could light it up at any time. Could that person please explain to me where all of those guys went? :lol:

Never fails, anytime I want Duke to win, they lose.

Aside from an obnoxious friend of mine that's an LSU fan that I'm gonna have to deal with, I'm glad they won. Been saying all year a team like LSU or UConn could give Duke hell, and they did.

Congrats to LSU on the big win. It was really hard, but I was pulling for the Tiggers tonight. Now we can finally say goodbye to JJ.....thank God.

The collective misery of the Duke undergrads should be fun to watch tomorrow. I'm in grad school at Duke, so I have a front row seat.

Will do. I absolutely love the fact that they lost to an SEC school, too. Too bad one of my grad student buddies who went to LSU is off in Costa Rica right now doing research. He'd be loving this.

I loved it. i have been callin for this upset around school since i got my pick sheet filled out some of my friends told me i was crazy, guess their wrong. i called one of them after the game best he could do was tell me to piss off. davis was awsome tonight especially that rebound off the foul shot when he was the only player from LSU inside the 3 point line and duke had 4 in there. THIS WIN FOR LSU WAS A THING OF BEAUTY.

I did. Anybody that even paid a little attention to SEC basketball this season (which is basically next to nobody outside of SEC territory, with the exception of the Vols) knew LSU's tremendous inside presence.

Not too many people around today. The campus is pretty dead. The students must be in their dorms moping. :p

It wasn't LSUs inside presence that beat Duke. Duke was doing fine feeding the ball to Sheldon Williams for the first 30 minutes. For some ungodly reason, when Davis and Thomas both got their 4th fouls, Duke stopped working the ball in to Williams...There aren't many times in my life when I question Coach K, however, the last 10 minutes of that game can be attributed to bad coaching...Should have kept pumping the ball inside until both Davis and Thomas fouled out.
