Yes, let's bring these hospitable people into our great conference. Makes me sick its even being thrown around. This isn't abnormal after WVU football game. Supposedly, the exact reason the Hokies quit playing WVU.:banghead2:

LSU fans attacked in traffic after weekend game in Morgantown - News - Charleston Daily Mail - West Virginia News and Sports -

Smith said other drivers in traffic did not attempt to stop the beating until Hannah started screaming at the attackers, saying she was pregnant.

"I think it probably saved his life. He was not conscious or moving when she got to him," he said.

Marcus sustained a broken nose, a crushed eye socket and a fractured frontal bone in the middle of his forehead

"Helen Smith said her daughter's vehicle had no stickers or flags indicating they were LSU fans, however.

"It was just a random act of violence," she said."

Yea, let's not invite a school to our conference because of several fans' negative behavior. Completely rational.

Or, you know, the fact that West Virginia fans have a very, very long history of being violent hooligans.

Wow, it's not like this is the first time something like this has happened in Morgantown. No way do I want these low lives in the SEC. I would never take my wife to a game there. They are the equivalent of Mexico soccer fans living in the US. Completely classless bunch.

Yeah, because VT didn't end their rivalry with WVU because several of their fans were beaten within an inch of their lives in 2003.

Why do you think everyone jumps from the Big East and no one ever endorses bringing WVU along?

Writing is on the wall buddy. You just can't read it, apparently.

When I was there for a Marshall game, I saw a guy run up to a car that had Marshall flags on it and ripped one off. They were stopped in traffic too, the wvu fan started mouthing threw the window and the Marshall fan stuck a .45 in his face. The wvu fan clocked about a 4.5 40 getting out of there!! Funny chit! They can get a little out of control!

Feel sorry for the victims here!!

Yep, I have a colleague who is an ECU fan who got jumped by a bunch of WVU fans after a game once. Those folks are too wild even by SEC standards.

God forbid we let those trashy fans in, they can't be rubbing elbows with the classiness of fans in places like Baton Rouge or Gainesville.

Wasn't a random act of violence. They knew they were LSU fans. The combination of the smell of corndogs and the fact they were chewing on their toenails made it a dead giveaway.

Holy cow, who in their right mind would do something like this over a loss? Some people need to get their priorities straight!

To be fair every group of fans has the crazy people just looking for a fight. The difference is west Virginia has zero redeeming qualities as a state.
