I wasn't fishing for compliments but in my business they are rare so I'll take 'em!!

That photo of the LSU "Thing" and the kid was hysterical.

Haha, apparently not a Lord of the Rings fan, huh? That, JennVols, is an Uruk Hai. A race of baddies in the LOTR series. :gun:

As for UF fans getting better.... I live in Tampa, and the ones I come in contact with every day are not getting that much better. They have taken a small step though. That small step is, of course, like the distance between the Earth and the Moon when compared to Bammers.

The last two days, I see these LSU fans coming on here just blathering nonsensically, baiting you UT fans into name-calling.  I think I have yet to see an LSU fan post on here anything other than rants and raves.

Well one thing to consider is that you come to this board to have "intelligent" discussion about football and treat them with respect so that you can get respect when they reply to you. You have over 200 posts, and you didn't fill that number up with worn out insults.

Obviously the LSU fans that are doing this just made an account to make 2-3 posts to stir up some sh*t. There are a handful of LSU fans on this board that are here to talk football, though. I'm sure florida has plenty of ******* fans that do the same thing. This behavior isn't limited to one particular school.

Lawgator...Your one of the only gator fans I can stand. :eek:k: You always are resonable, and know the strengths and weaknesses of our team and your team.

I hope more resonable fans like you come here in the future.

Nope, I haven't seen any of the Lord of The Rings movies. Thanks for explaining to me what that thing is in the picture.

Hmmmm. . . . just realized that we have a doctor and a lawyer, a Tennessee and a Florida fan, actually getting along. What has the world come to? :birgits_giggle:

This is the 1st thread I've read since returning from Gainesville, so forgive me if this dog is already lying, but...

The UF fans I encountered BEFORE the game were good. A happy medium between the a--holes they used to be, and the overbearingly mushy fans they were 2 years ago while trying to better their reputation.

Now the UF fans AFTER the game were a whole different story!! :nono:

I think the win took them a step backward. We walked 2+ miles back to our hotel, just to keep from being suckered into lowering ourselves to their level. The entire walk I kept thinking how fans of successful programs are suppose to expect to win; therefore, they should react like there was never a doubt in their mind. Well they definitely did NOT act like they'd been there before, and if I had a dollar for every time someone yelled "Vols suck balls", I'd have enough to buy a ticket to the ND game!!

And before someone responds with...every school has some fans like that...this was a large majority in my opinion!

I would love to post something to shed light on the game but I really feel that LSU, Tenn, and Florida are a mystery this early in the season. LSU was not it's normal self against Az St and everyone saw that the UT/UF game was out of the ordinary (as far as lack of offensive production). I don't think anyone really knows what to expect Saturday.

With that out of the way, UT's attempt to get the gamed played earlier in the day was silly. I don't think they want to play in the dark.....and yes, phil is phat :)

I agree that this season hasn't shown any hint on what will be the end result for the top spots in the SEC.

My Gators have a TON to work on to make this spread offense work right. (Playing a beast of a defense like Tennessee didn't help)

I think the VOLS will be fine once they commit to Ainge at QB, and continue to pound the ball for 4 quarters. That running game will open up the passing game without question. Not sure why they stopped running on us.

LSU seems pretty well rounded, but a little rusty on defense( only judging from what I saw against ASU, and that was just the first game of the year). I'm sure that will change after 2 weeks of practice. I would think that Saturday's game is going to be close.

One question I have for everyone--do you think BAMA is for real this year? (Hope not) Does Vandy make it to a bowl game?

Sorry to hear that you had that experience on the walk back. That does not make me happy or proud. I felt lucky to have won that game because, as I've said here a bunch, the two teams seemed evenly matched to me and but for some special teams breakdowns by UT it could have been different in the end. Not saying UF didn't deserve to win -- we did -- its just that it was a very tough and tight game, in my opinion and no cause for rubbing noses in anything.
