It’s very difficult for the number 1 team to upset anybody. That is the altitude where UT is now. You guys will have to get used to it. You can still whine, but I wouldn’t.

No, it isn't. A #1 team can commit devastating mental and sloppy blunders that cost them a game. Thus upset themselves.

AP and Coaches will not admit they were wrong in their current rankings; it would admit the SEC is loading another team (UT) that outshines the B10 + what would that say if OSU and Michigan were to meet, not sitting in the top 5? TV ratings could be jeopardized.

Who has OSU played in the top 25? the politics of the ranking system is not worth discussing. OSU and Michigan are the only "teams" in that conference worthy of any real headlines.......so far.

Michigan just bludgeoned Penn State, so at least they have something pollsters can point to; OSU is just a popularity pick; all looks no substance.

UT has proven that they deserve to be discussed as the best team in the NCAA, which is light years past the past 16 years.
