LSU @ Florida

I'm honestly half expecting LSU to screw up clock management again and spike the ball on fourth down.

LSU might just win a championship - they're getting the sort of lucky breaks that we got in '98.
That's an insult to our 1998 team. We were lucky to win against Arkansas, but other than that, I'm not really sure we were that lucky to win.

Our closest regular season games were BCS teams in Syracuse, Florida, and Arkansas who was 8-0 at the time. Florida State was a 1 score game but they scored right at the end to make it that way.

So far, LSU edged a depleted UNC team, a WVU team with an awful coach, the worst UT team of my lifetime, and the worst Florida team of the Meyer era.

LSU has Arkansas, Auburn and Bama left to play.

Very doubtful they win all three. It looks like Auburn-Bama will settle the west.

Bama's not losing again, and they'd have the tiebreaker over LSU.

LSU beating Auburn is more likely. The Tigers play Arkansas like they ate too much food at Thanksgiving dinner.

I think Auburn will lose to LSU, Bama, and maybe drop another SEC game, probably Arky.

Oh I'm right there with you.

I'm still not sold on Auburn or Cam Newton. He hasn't faced any of the West's top defenses yet.

I think Bama wins out, followed by Arkansas, LSU and Auburn. Auburn and LSU might swap spots.

Never count out Miles. I think he beats Auburn and Arky.

Plays Arky at War Memorial and everyone just struggles there. He's also Miles and any late close game is a gut cinch to have clock management disaster written all over it.

Me either. It is very possible the west could end up (in order) Bama, Arky/LSU, Auburn. Winner of LSU and Arky will end up second in the west.

Maybe. But when it comes to Miles and clock management this year, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he starts a sh*t storm and comes out smelling like a rose.
