Just remember that their special teams scored 14 points in the last game. I hope ours are better. They better be.

Well as long as we play like the Vols we should be playing as, and not that SORRY excuse of a team we've seen the last 2 weeks, we should be able to win. Im still looking for a 1 loss season, im optomistic, it seems like this board has had the wind knocked out of it though.

If anyone wants my opinion, I think all three of us, LSU, UF and UT, are ranked too high. UF is riding Meyer's media-love wave. LSU is getting credit for having a lot of depth. But depth ain't gonna win the game. (Also, as much as I hate to admit it, I suspect we might be getting some sympathy for the storm damage.) It's such a weird season. The ONLY dominant team in NCAA right now is USC, and maybe Texas too.

Sorry, I guess there's no point to this post. I just meant to illustrate the point that the LSU game coming up is absolutely unpredictable.

I love you Atreus for coming on here and talking reasonably and not rubbing in our loss to UF. Thank you.

If anybody thinks that UF is gonna run the tables this year, I have a lake Id like to sell you.

Point is, UT had better be ready to pounce on the Eastern Division title when they fall.

ANd it all begins Saturday @ LSU

I'll be first to back you about FL not running the table in the SEC. We're better than any Zook team, but I don't see ANY school getting out of the SEC unscathed this year.

You guys have a 10 fold better defense than LSU, and they got lucky at Arizona State. They gave up big plays on the ground AND in the air. That being said, you guys are a much better team with Ainge at QB. I feel confident that you'll make the Tigers choke on their gameday gumbo

Tiger fans go to sleep when their team falls behind, as they did against us two seasons ago, so whup on em early. and you'll be able to hear a field mouse fart!

Clearly both Tennessee and Florida can play this here game. Neither team will be taken lightly by LSU. LSU must shake out the opening-game jitters it showed against Arizona State.

The Tennessee offense may not have been really clicking in the Florida game, but we certainly did see a lot of big, fast, strong players.

LSU wins this game if QB Jamarcus Russell can hit his receivers against the Tennessee defense. Tennessee wins this game if LSU cannot stop Riggs. Neither team can afford to be one-dimensional on offense or porous on defense.

It should be a good one. Could be decided by the kickers.
