Well that sucked. I was getting pumped about the upset. I think mullen over thought his play calling at the end.

I'd say so. There's a time to get cutesy, and a time to go for the kill.

The tight end was open in the endzone...the call wasn't terrible...but, if you put the ball in the air, bad things can happen. And it did.

They've got a physical, 230lb. downhill back...with 2 downs, you give it to him and celebrate your victory.

I will be interested to hear what my Miss St. alum buddy will have to say about this one after he criticized Kiffin's playcalling at the end of the UCLA game.

Seriously. 3rd and goal from 1 foot away with Dixon? Though it would've helped if he had a QB who acted like he wanted to get into the endzone.
