LSU-Miss State

I stand corrected. I had no idea Miss State was bringing that much to the table this year. They were hyped up in 2012 and them deflated and never really looked good last year so this caught me by total surprise.

Nice win by MSU, clearly more physical at this point and the better team.

I had the feeling it was going to come and it did, the wake up call. Besides the OL doing terrible, I was not really disappointed, the OL was suppose to be one of the best in the country but they have struggled every game. LSU is probably the youngest team in the country or very close to it and it shows, however with that said I still think there were some outstanding plays.

Jennings would be a decent backup QB but I think we have seen his ceiling which just isn't very high. Harris clearly has more ability but he really needs to add some weight, its a very hard decision.

Lots of freshmen and sophomores and even though it was manhandling I was actually somewhat encouraged when I saw all the freshmen playing.

LSU's problem is that they have a green as grass defensive line which is not as talented as in years past and an offensive line that is not as good as it needs to be.

Not to poke fun at a player specifically, but how's that Heisman chase for Leonard Fournette coming along? :)

Maybe he should play a few games before making claims he's a Heisman contender this year and making the poses he did.

It was bound to happen to LSU, no team can lose so much talent to the NFL year after year and keep reloading like they have. But they will be fine in a year or so when all their youth grows up.

I think this will be a down year for LSU and they go 7-5(losses to Texas A&M,Auburn,Alabama and Ole Miss). They might be visiting the Independence Bowl.

I think this may be the year Les finally takes the UM job. Lots of LSU fans starting to grumble like we did at the end of the Fulmer era. I think Michigan will throw the bank at him. He could kill it in the Big 10.

I thought Harris looked better than Jennings (IMO). I know he is a true fresman and everything but that kid looked good and has a arm on him.

Les tries and protect Freshmen QBs after what happened to Lee. Harris is still raw and never picked up a ball until his 2nd year of HS. He has raw talent for sure, not sure it's going to help this year but LSU has to get him on the field more for sure. Other than the play of the OL, I am actually encouraged by the play of quite a few freshman. As long as LSU improves a little from game to game I generally don't have an issue, but yes I agreed long term Jennings is not the solution.

I actually feel the opposite, but you never know, very hard to win with guys this young. Let's see if there is improvement by the end of year.

LSU fans and Georgia fans grumble at their coaches the same way we grumbled about Fulmer during his later years.

I really like LM but he's had a purple and gold horseshoe up his *** for years now. If they've needed a break they got one. I think the bounces are starting to go the other way and Miles coaching defeciencies will show....LSU has talent but the luck is running out

You are correct,i think LSU could possibly be 3-5 in the SEC this season and will probably go to a minor bowl game. His seat will be hot in 2015.

Mullen has been slowly progressing year after year at MSU. Looking like a formidable team now.

Yeah it wouldn't have anything to do with 5-10 players a year leaving, LSU will have a hard time winning any type of championship, if 3 year sophomores and juniors continue to go to the NFL at the rate of the last 3-4 years.

LSU has talent but a good portion are young and raw. As long as they improve along the way, I have little issue. MS was clearly more physical and more mature, there is really not much to analysis with this one.
